I actually found it really easy to get an ancient Deathwish on the wiz. I think I've got 2 extras sitting in the stash; what's hard is finding the higher % on the affix + the rolls you want :p

I'm at the point in the season where I could keep pushing solo GR, especially on the Wiz which could probably do 100 (only done to 94, which was a 6min or less run), but I find it boring solo. I like group clears/speed clears a lot but I don't have set groups so I just hop on, LFG in the various channels a few times, and if I can't get one I get off (and play PoE which I'm trying again).

Made a wizard, and don't want to farm on it, because I don't like any of the speed builds for wizards. But I love the solo push and group play of a Tal Meteor wizard.

Hit me up if you feel like farming stuff and loot sharing so I can gear up my Wiz. :p

Speed T13 for a Tal wizard is rather easy, the Frozen Orb build with an Aether Walker gets around and still deletes things (I actually got my TX+ in 2 minutes with it on T13).

The problem with high GR speeds on a wizard is simply no slot for the teleport wand when you need to cube the staff and wear Deathwish + Etched. No idea why they put our movement ability on a weapon and left it bound to the GCD.

Yeah I'm searching for a GR speed build for wizard I can enjoy as well. I think I hit a ceiling for straight Vyr's lighting wizard, but haven't put together the pieces and seriously tried T6V4. Hoping it combines the speed of Archon with the damage bonuses of Tal to do 85 or so. The alternative is 4-5 minutes to finish a run and that's gonna get old real quick.

Well, took about 3 hours and I have the full Tal wiz build. Running 95 speeds with friends, and loving it!

Shouldn't have to, you should be able to choose adventure mode from the game settings.

Confirmed glitch mode. I think switching my Users on and out after beating the campaign but staying logged in confused the client. I shut down and rebooted and it works now, thanks

So I was trying to get D3 to work on my computer that uses a 4K TV, except no matter what i picked something was wrong. Windows (fullscreen) had the taskbar always showing with Lock Cursor option doing nothing and Fullscreen would have no mouse cursor at all. So "the fix" was to set a custom text size of 149% instead of 150% on Fullscreen which did actually make the cursor show up, except the Windows cursor was freakishly smaller despite only -1% change in scale, and the D3 cursor has no adjustment so it's really hard to keep track of on a 4K display with combat effects everywhere.

And now it's done something bad to my Chrome where the UI (not webpage) font size on the UI is way off. WTF would changing a setting by 1% fubar this?

Might be something related to windows fullscreen optimization settings. Right click the exe and go to compatability and see if disabling them fixes it. Also worth messing around with the scaling options under "change high dpi settings"

Edit: Specifically these two settings. They can be troublesome with certain scaling/resolution setups and Win10

So I wussed out and didn't quit yet. To that end though the farm portion of a Wiz, like everybody else is saying here, is a fucking joke. I've tried every build sans DMO, guess that's next, and there's just nothing that you can safely run GR70+ in less than 5mins that isn't your full on push build without it being the most ideal of GRifts. So I'm at GR 102 and figure I need my 3 gems at the same level and enchants, I'm going to spend 5+ mins a rift and it's a "speed" run? Ugh....

How is HOTA for pushing buttons and farming? Is it mindless? Might re-roll a barb as the only other thing I have to play at the moment is Fortnite and I'm just not feeling it.
