I fired this up and was just having fun playing my monk after not playing at all for nearly a year. Got a couple of Paragon levels and some solid upgrades for my gear which is a hell of a lot more fun than playing the AH for upgrades... Will probably get the expansion now and play through with my buddies

He's currently 1/3 a bottle of scotch in and he's vegan so he's probably close to brain damage. He's a lawyer for one of the larger car insurance companies. And he's like an idiot savant, except more like a retard-savant.

That's what a nearly full frost build will do too. I ran frost nova + magic missile (glacial spike) and arcane orb (frozen orb) and the shit just won't move. Grabbed teleport and a mirror image because your clones casting 8 billion frozen orbs is lol.
heh yeah i use to run a frost build on this guy when crits reduced cd's b y1 sec...triple explosion + constant crystal shield + perma frost from frost nova spam... good ol days

Anyone have experience with this puzzle box ring? The one that summons a goblin that converts 12 grey loots to a rare with a remote possibility of a legendary. I lose a little dps with it but it doesn't seem worthwhile since it doesn't pick up blues and I can't even see gray drops.

Sooo yeah got a Thunderfury and another Legendary weapon plus some other upgrades which more than quadrupled my overall damage and all of this while on Normal since I figured I had no idea how to play anymore.
Im guessing they cranked up the Monty Haul generator to get people interested for the expansion and it worked hah

Also, does being on a higher difficulty affect drops in any way? Or just XP/Gold gain rates?
