Seriously, all legendary helm and weapons should autoroll with a socket. Nothing more disappointing then getting that nice orange glow then finding out it does less dps than your current weapon because ~100% crit damage is that good.

Well doesn't matter much for RoS, can reroll a socket on it.

I didn't know that, thanks. Better than before, but still a bit disappointing because it means your customization enchant is already spoken for on rare drop.

Would've probably been a better idea to move sockets out of drops entirely and into one of the crafters or a farm objective similar to key wardens.

Oh btw there's a really weird thing with voices if you play female DH, apparently they changed the actress for that character so they recorded most of the old voices again so it's not weird that she changes voice in act5 only, but they forgot a bunch of lines so she goes from one voice to the other all the time. Wonder if they'll finish recording all the lines or just leave it like that.

Also swapped Marked for Death for Chakram Shuriken Cloud, while it's a lot less damage the fact it clears all the barrels and shit just by running at them is why I changed it. I think about half of the legendaries I got other than end of act bosses were from barrels and chests. Granted I could probably use another hatred builder that breaks them easily like grenades or bola, might go grenade actually since I like the +3hatred per cast and bolas don't have that, currently using hungering arrow. Changed spiderbro into wolf, wolf cooldown is just much better since I'm using frost arrows anyway so I don't need the slow and 30%dmg for 10secs is generally enough to kill rare packs.

Made a Rerolled clan on EU.

Looking for someone to carry me (150k dps monk) and a friend (120k dps barb) through some infernal machines (got 9).

I had the crappiest luck with legendaries, got 4 2h weps (2 staffs) all at or under 1100 dps.

Found this a few minutes ago, it seems to have an internal cooldown of about 30seconds or so but it's just enough to stop using the spirit rune on sweeping wind. Lost a bit of damage but it's worth it. Plus now my skill cooldown is at 30%

Holy shit, started playing a Static Charge + Hands of Lightning Monk and the first monster in the catherdral dropped Thundergod's Vigor WITH MONK STATS which adds crazy procs to this combo - now I just need Thunderfury (can you dual weild them?). Then Stone of Jordan and Occulus dropped WITH MONK STATS, one off Leoric and one off a random monster.

Seems pretty good so far, can't belive I missed that this was happening so soon.

You cannot dual wield legendaries but I can tell you my Thunderfury on my Monk is amazing.

So I got to play with some new skills last night, shadow power is garbage now. It just doesn't heal enough at higher lvls now as loh instead of life %. Reflects damage was a huge problem while using shadow power because it still didn't heal enough to negate the damage output. But I did come to find out the new smoke screen rune healing vapors does heal you about as fast as the old shadow power and since you are invulnerable while in ss I swapped to cluster arrow (I always prefer loaded for bear over cluster bombs) and I just unload 2-3 cluster arrows on them while ss is up. Still running mark for death contagion and it actually has pretty good synergy with loaded for bear, you mark a weak mob, kill it instantly with lfb, and now everyone is marked. Also running wolf and wolf active + cluster arrows melts things rather quickly.

To be clear you can not equip two of the same uniques, so two different uniques 1 in each hand is ok they just can't both be a thunderfury or whatever.

Updated my build a touch

March - Community - Diablo III

I took off Rupture from Cleave and replaced it with the flat +dmg% rune. It seems to be better for clearing elite packs with only minimal downside for clearing trash.

I got rid of the "suck you in" skills and replaced them with zero-fury damage skills. This works far, far better for elite packs and bosses. The only downside is against packs of mobs who like to run away and spread out. Revenge w/ Retribution hits for a very respectable amount of damage. Crits in the 1M+ area for me. Overpower w/ Spree is mostly there for some bonus damage and it's 8% crit. Since most Barbs should crit fairly often you can have very good uptime with the buff so it is almost like a free 8% crit.

I consider War Cry and Threatening Shout "flavor" skills which can be swapped out with other things. With War Cry w/ Invigorate that meant that I could safely swap out Rend from Bloodlust to Lacerate if running Torment 2+. So that is a change of 350% damage over 5 seconds. Threatening Shout is overall a very good skill for this build since the idea is to be in the middle of a ton of shit at all points in time. Combined with War Cry w/ Invigorate it means I'm pretty much unkillable unless I get walled in against Arcane + Desecrator + Poison pool and shit. Grim Harvest is just fun because there isn't really an attractive run to take on Threatening Shout. It is good for getting bonus HP orbs and gold and I'd say I average 5 rares a run off mobs dropping them. The upside of having these two fairly low cooldown fury generating skills is I can usually cycle between the two when I hit Rend where I can instantly get that Fury back to pop back into Berserker Rage territory.

The major downside of the build is killing bosses. It can be somewhat slow and boring since you are unkillable and don't have giant single target DPS. With Rend + Cleave I'd say my average DPS is in the 700k territory. Cleave crits in the 600k area and rend ticks in the 200k area.

I think that's been a downside to them increasing the elite pack size. Something that spawned with 6 base elites and then gets the horde affix is fucking ground effects EVERYWHERE. Can't see wtf is going on. I love getting chain CCed too. Freeze after freeze after freeze, shitty way to die. Or a waller that completely walls you in because he's got 6 buddies. Some of the new affixes are challenging and fun(thunderstorm, orbiters, poisoned, whatever one makes that pulse), but some of the changes are just retarded.

Maybe some barbs can help me out, but after playing my monk for a bit and then giving my barb a try, all I could think was that he's now the poor man's monk. Everything I wanted to do on my barb, the monk does better. Clump up monsters? Cyclone strike has no cooldown and its range is longer than Ground Stomp or Leap. The cost is sustainable if you run the right generator. Hurricane's pull is too slow. Mobility? Sprint doesn't seem sustainable unless you change your ability loadout for fury gen. And if you're using leap to clump monsters, it's not a "get out of shit" option like dashing strike is.

Yeah the perma freeze can be pretty bad as a melee, that's why I use the invuln thing on my monk after getting freezelocked twice in a row against a bunch of shit mobs(but a large amount of them). On my DH it wasn't much of an issue since I could vault away out of the freeze and keep DPSing, but as a monk unless you run hand of yshtar or something like that it sucks.

Picked up my monk, I had stopped playing it right after I hit 60 so all I had was really budget leveling gear and a 2H hammer 0.9speed slowest shit ever but it was lvl 43req with 1000DPS so was good for leveling especially with tempest rush(that was pre 2.0). Anyway so I check the skills out and I'm like oh god this weapon suck dicks I need a new one asap I'll just equip the first rare that drops, first wretched mother that's right outside town for the first quest drops an Azurewraith. Bam 1250DPS 1H. Sadly I couldn't find an offhand to go with it so for now using a shield is actually higher DPS than dual wielding, but eh. Went from 6k DPS to like 50k before I reached skeleton king. Weird thing though, Butcher didn't drop a legendary even though I reset progress.

Monk is a lot of fun though, plays a lot better with the new dash strike I feel, old one was ok but you'd end up starting the fights with no spirit and shit it was annoying. This one is basically free, it moves faster I think(but maybe I remember wrong) and it actually does good damage especially with the damage rune, does 350%ish on everything on your path then 600%ish on the last target, I actually use it to increase single target DPS on bosses and shit. Doing the old Overawe+Exploding Palm build, really like how it plays, nothing more satisfying than popping an entire elite pack in one big explosion of death. Last skill is Fire elemental thingie, not sure what to use and I figure it's 10%dmg and some damage on the side too but I don't know it's not very impactful. Earth one has a nice use but the passive sucks and 30secs for a bit of CC doesn't seem worth it. Maybe I'll use Seven Sided Strikes instead, or Sweeping Winds but I always feel Sweeping Winds damage is kinda low and hate having to recast it every now and then because it drops.

Also do I remember wrong or was Fleet Footed just normal movespeed? Now it's uncapped movespeed, I have 30%ish move speed(don't have 2 movespeed items) which is pretty baller.
