Well your bracers are only 3/2 in affixes so you can gain crit there without having to lose anything. You're wearing a soj, which is awesome, don't change that, but it does nothing for your paper dps. Since we just learned inc damage vs elites is multiplicative you're only gaining 4% from it in your unity so maybe reroll that to crit damage if you haven't rerolled it/don't want to give up the loh. Cindercoat again not big for paper dps, but big in terms of edps. Get crit on your gloves since it can roll to 10 there, 900 loh is nothing these days so reroll that if you haven't rerolled anything there. You ideally want crit on your helm. And I don't fully understand the moonlight ward since I never got one, is the proc that good? No dex, low crit, and no crit damage is another big loss in dps there, actually huge as it would increase the dps of all your other skills by a big margin.

Oh yeah, and no socket/emerald in weapon is another big one.
Moonlight Ward is pretty insane even with sub-par stats. It's basically 272% weapon damage explosion around you every second (maybe faster, the orbs have a built in delay it feels like though), for forever, as a melee. I had one drop at like level 17 on my hardcore wizard and rode that sucker to max level with blades.

As awesome as that sounds, yeah, its definitely not worth giving up a 400% damage inc from ~400 dex, plus the huge percentage he'd gain in crit/crit damage and/or increase to fire damage.

I've managed to get some upgrades for my monkey, but looking at my sheet stats, something is way off. Ingame my toughness is just below 6mil, and my damage is 415K.

Monkey

I know I need to try and reroll a socket for my helm, and get some Vit on my leggings. I've been trying to get better balanced Rings from Kadala, but no luck. Gotta say that the Mad King's Scepter is a really fun weapon.

@Chris. Take even more advantage of your Cindercoat by using more Fire skills; Crippling Wave/Mangle, Lashing Tail Kick/Vulture, you can spam LTK so much while under Epiphany.

Thanks for the feedback, sounds like crit % and crit damage is multiplying up the damage stats then?

Moonlight Ward is stupid.

There's a bunch of legendaries which are worth using even with shit stats or not great stats, Moonlight Ward is apparently one, Pox Faulds are really good too, the shoulders that proc fan of knives are nice if you're getting hit then weapons like Maximus or that 2H mace that procs lightning when you get hit or Thunderfury are fairly insane due to procs. And then the other items that don't show on sheet DPS like SoJ, Cindercoat, Helm of Pride(or whatever, the bounty helm), Gloves of Worship, the -1 set piece ring.

I don't think sheet DPS means shit anymore, some builds are gonna have higher sheet DPS because they have more "visible" stat. My crusader has a lot of strength crit crit damage so the sheet DPS is like 750k ingame, 620k on the website, my DH on the other hand has 380k ingame, 320k on profile, but my DH does more damage by a lot because SoJ, Cindercoat, Pox Faulds, Firewalkers, Demon Machine and Deathwalker Pauldrons add a retarded amount of damage that doesn't show. I can kill weak white mobs by vaulting into them and out from Pox Faulds+Firewalker alone.

My DH sheet DPS is low mostly because I'm using 2.0 cindercoat/SoJ/firewalkers and a defensive ring for survivability because of the cindercoat, but replace those with level 70 equivalent and for a basic rare ring with the right stats and I'd probably jump to 600-700k sheet. Just not worth it to replace them by shit giving me 10%dmg upgrade when the items provide more than that anyway(firewalkers is mostly for the utility of being able to run into barrels and shit instead of having to break them, and because boots stats are so low the difference is minimal anyway).

This is my profile:
Dominara - Community - Diablo III

I have some legendaries and rares to swap in for the low level stuff and alternate belts/bracers/gloves but the damage doesn't beat the % fire bonuses or moonlight ward insanity. Only legendaries which drop for me are Rings/Amulets/Weapons. I'm actually at 200,000 with this build but can get 250,000 sheet damage though the character will be less powerful.
I would socket that Cindercoat with green gems, reforge that 2 hander to fire damage and go to a fire build. I use to run a fire build and they are fun to play. Here is a pretty good fire build.

You guys shouldn't use profiles for comparison anyway. It doesn't show rerolls, so the numbers are going to be way off, even if you ignore things like buffs that aren't applied either.

Also, Moonlight Ward is definitely worth the sacrifice to some other offensive stats. Drop the tempest rush bullshit(think it has a proc coefficient of .25) and pick up WoTHF - FoF. Highest proc coefficient at an average of 1.255 per hit. The first orb from Moonlight Ward explodes immediately and then the rest at 1s intervals. Not that it matters, you're going to be continually refreshing that shit. And supposedly it has no ICD. Cyclone them in, punch away and watch shit blow up. It'll be boring, but they will die fast.

No idea why you went with bluster. Just because it's fire? You're pushing them out of your main damage dealer! Bluster is for getting out of shit.

Is fire damage weapon going to be increased by the fire skills modifiers?

I've tried the fire spirit generator/spender (was my lv60 build) but I find that it slows me down as I have to swap in tankier skills and gear, I can just avoid damage altogether with infinite tempest rush and burst down quickly spamming cyclone strike since they both have stun effects.

I see many of your probs. You're just not prioritizing the right gear/stats. You want FOUR primary stats on your rare gear. Chests can roll 3 sockets, legs can roll 2 sockets. Helms and bracers can roll crit chance, your amulets, rings and gloves can roll attack speed, crit chance, and crit dmg. You should have at least two of those imo. If you hit ctrl in-game when hovering over your gear it will show you how high those stats can roll - so if you have something low, you should maybe be looking for higher rolled pieces. Legendary items are the exception and can roll very different stats on your gear, but you want to make sure you aren't conceding too much dps for survival/utility related stats.

Yes, but so is the holy damage, skill element type trumps weapon element type. I don't believe there is ever any reason you would not want a socket on a weapon, there might be some outlier legendary that I don't know about, but I'm pretty sure any weapon needs a socket.

Is there a less useless profile site that shows rerolls? This is where I've been stuck atQuickBen - Community - Diablo III

Damage is rapidly going nowhere.
It's hard to evaluate profiles because rerolled items aren't shown properly :/
get rid of all res on rings, go for more dps. chest has only 3 stats and only 1 socket. get rid of loh on gloves. scrap regen on bracers. only 3 stats on legs.

I've been playing this expansion since release and haven't jumped into a clan or really grouped with anyone. If anyone feels like playing I'm currently focusing on my wiz who is currently 247k dps. Figuring out what to do right now in regards to advancing the gear I get. Anyway, name is Gunra#1134

I'm up to 52.98% CD reduction and only just now realized that a flat 10% cdr is only 7.98% on the sheet. lol wat? Not that it's a huge difference but.. why?

Regardless, because the cooldown starts instantly on Epiphany, my cooldown is only 13 seconds AFTER the skill has ran its entire duration. I'm loving this cdr build so far.

CDR is multiplicative so if you have 20% and 10% it's 0.9 * 0.8 = 0.72 and not a flat 30% off.

I got bored of T6 core runs after like 5 minutes. Way too boring to give a shit about items. Much more fun doing rifts/bounties with friends
