It can be frustrating. At the same time, it is a huge advantage if you manage to get your resists lined up since a single resist is a secondary stat. I just keep a stock of solid rares and legs so I can supplement my gear around the few pieces I want to build around. How are fellow monks dealing with OWE? I can't decide if Blizzard designed monk survivability around the assumption of OWE or not. Either way, not looking forward finding legendaries with 4/5 correct stats instead of the 3/4 everyone else gets. I got extremely lucky with my strongarms, it dropped with 5/5 affixes. I'm doubting most of my legendary drops, even ones I want, will even be 3/5.
Thats what I don't get about the legendary materials, the obviously don't want you to continuously recreate games and they've said it puts a heavy strain on the servers, so why go about legendary materials dropping the way they do? People on the official forums say they just remake games until the target they are looking for is a bounty. One of my targets was the bounty once out of the 100 or so games I created looking for it(in the process of actually farming/going look for it, I didn't create 100 games just to get a bounty on it). Actually, nerfing manglemaw types and chest runs I'm sure had a lot to do with reducing server strain also.I'm betting it was bots. Whether bots were actually ruining something(idk, server load from remaking tons of games?), I'm relatively certain that's what these changes were for.
I still use OWE, but it can't be counting for more than 150 - 200 of my overall resists. Most of the gear / legs that I have been finding have resist all in some form and they aren't close enough to ideal to reforge. After trying to milk some more DPS my resists hover around 1000. I don't venture higher than T1 on a regular farm basis at the moment though. I have been able to do up to T3, it is more slow / tedious. How are fellow monks dealing with OWE? Crusaders get a taunt and a really decent root but have much better ranged attack vs barbs, and no not for a few mobs we were originally talking about a rift that was only ghosts that run.You mean, switch your whole spec for a few mobs?
What pulls do crusaders get?
Play for a few hours, the game literally throws upgrades at you.Is there a resource you guys are using to show you were stuff drops? Whether it's just a random legendary drop, or if it can be bought from Kadala? I'm mad that all my armor is still rares, so I want to try and target some specific upgrades. Thanks!
Not for everyone. Play a few hours every night, and haven't gotten any thing but a legendary weapon, and legendary amulet. No big deal, but figured I'd try and target some upgrades. Clearly just need to play more, and I'd have everything I wanted.Play for a few hours, the game literally throws upgrades at you.
Then run rifts, ideally in group, and buy slots you want from Kadala. Specific farming is meh in my opinion, unless you have plans for a specific item you want to make. Not for everyone. That's what I do every night, just run rifts, and been buying 1 handers from Kadala in hopes of a Starmetal Kuri for my WD.Then run rifts, ideally in group, and buy slots you want from Kadala. Specific farming is meh in my opinion, unless you have plans for a specific item you want to make.
