Eh, who really wants to play D3 on PS3/4 ? I mean it sold shitload of copies so I imagine everyone who wanted it already has it and consoles don't seem to lend themselves to fast and precise movement, so unless they chop the difficulty it will end up being inferior.

I always figured they would wait for the first expansion for a console version. You could bundle the game+expansion in a single package for 60bucks on consoles and could market the console version and expansion at the same time. Planned release dates have to be pretty close for both. If Blizzard is doing the port in house I wouldn't be surprised if the PS3 version ends up delayed then cancelled leaving D3+xpac as a PS4 release game.

Whole thing was a little odd. 'Hi I'm Chris Metzen from Blizzard. Remember that game we released a year ago that a lot of people are still angry about. Yeah we're gonna port it to PlayStation. (Show D3 logo) Ok I'm done, bye.' Bungie's Destiny presentation was pretty weak too.

Most of that 4 chan stuff sounds logical but some of it, like achievements, were big in WoW already and people liked them... but really who cares, Diablo 3 on PS4? lol

I'm actually shocked people were surprised by this announcement. Blizz has been hiring console developers for Diablo 3 for years. Also you had 6 active skills at one time which just screamed gamepad. Still seems like it would be a pain to play without a mouse, though.

And why wouldn't they do this? They sold what 12 million copies of it for pc, they will make a killing on next gen consoles + ps3.

Not to mention they got a year of beta testing out of us. When this game hits the consoles they'll think it is the best arpg ever produced. And it easily could be for consoles.

And while the end-game sucked at release and the story is laughable, the core gameplay was always fun and they've made lots of improvements to the end-game. Yeah, it would've been great to have it in it's current state when it launched last year, but it's become a game that you can just jump back into whenever you get the itch to mow down hordes of demons.

Yeah, RMAH will remain for sure. I don't know why removing it makes it a better game when the gold auction house still exists.

All rmah does is provide incentives to farmers, botters and multiboxers. All of which are going to be harder on a console.
