So is this the best way to get white parts also?
White is battlefields in act5 or halls of agony, you run around with max speed you can stack and just open all the things and pick whites. It's like 8 white parts per item. I mean you can convert too if you prefer, depends on how many things you have. In general if you're missing anything though you'll farm whites that way, then convert them since you get a lot more white mats per item than blues or yellows.

The Battlefields of Eternity map in Act 5 has those angelic armor repository things all over the map that almost always drop white gear. Kinda tedious, but it's something.

They are in many places - A1 Halls of Agony, the A2 vaults, A5 in the westmarch commons and then in the Battlefield of Eternity.

So yeah, where should I go next ? Switch the Toxin gem for Taeguk or the new one. I guess F+R as rings and then see what Ancient weapon I can get next, either SS or HotA. I have the BK swords, but non-ancient they end up being like 25% dps loss, but it lets me clear T6 faster.

Then start shuffling passives and runes for more survivability to climb GRs, right now I'm at 35, but I think I could pull off up to 40.

I know that's the case for fetish sycophants since last season or so, I imagine that's prolly the case for some other abilites.

Anyways I started grouping up with guildies who've been poopsocking since s4 came out and one of them said I was laggy. I figured she meant because I was only 330 or so and undergeared and WD's don't have the mobility of monks or barbs, but it turns outhelltooth builds are actually laggy. They supposedly hotfixed it a couple days ago but folks are saying it's still laggy. sigh.

The lag stuff is weird, but yeah I've seen lots of ppl complain about helltooth lag in groups.

Anyway, finally done with the season journey, got my nice portrait. Some of it could have been less shitty, but overall it wasn't so bad and was a nice way to keep me playing. Probably done for now though, but really enjoyed this season. Hell my combined paragon on non season is like 250, and this season I hit paragon 500 alone, so yeah ^^. Looking forward to Impale DH next season.

You only get a portrait for the journey achieve? Are there mounts/pets in other games for it too?

I gotta say, the biggest reason I'm prolly gonna stick with this season char is the just the player pool. You never really think about it if you've only played s1 or so, but looking for ubers groups, rifts, wardens etc is just instantaneous with seasons whereas I could generally finish a rift or two before getting a group in NS.

After the first 4 chapters which is easy to do stuff, you get a blue dog pet and a portrait. Then there's more harder stuff that unlocks that lets you update the portrait. It goes like wood, stone, copper, silver, gold, diablo red.

Is there a point for weapons to have an elemental damage type, or is it just flavor? There are perks with buff elemental dmg "skills", but those won't buff a weapons base dmg type, right?

I'm kinda at a loss on how to continue building my Monk. I have all the items needed for a SSS build, except for the 60%cdr staff, and the Gungdo bracer I got has bad rolls. I also have a full of Inna's gear (aside from the weapon), but using the 2pc bonus with other gear seems better than going with 4/6. Current setup is:
Ishemi

I had been using the 2pc bonus from Uliana, Raiment, and Monkey King, but the 2pc MK bonus performed badly in that the clone is summoned would usually appear far away from any mobs...so its explosion was wasted. So I replaced those pieces with the Crudest Boots and a Hellfire amulet. I'm easily clearing T7 / GR30 now making things blow up, but Arcane beams and those exploding fatties are my nemesis. My single target dmg seems a bit low vs bosses, even if I use a lvl25 BotS, so I swapped that out for higher base dmg from generators.

Anyone know how the +300%dmg to generator bonus from the 2pc Raiment set works? It doesn't show up on the details sheet like all the other generator buffs (Increase skill X by %, or the perk from Depth Diggers), my detail sheet shows Crippling Wave dmg increased by 159%, does the extra 300%dmg from the Raiment set just get applied on hits?
Total damage after all skill mods and other shit, then increased by 300% (x4).

So I built a WoL cold build (I had cold SoJ/SWK neck and shit) and I thought with the set claws it could be awesome. It was not. I wasn't using F+R and due to that my hits were roughly 80million for the first hit, and 75million for the second. I think I could potentially rebuild with the lightning pillar, but no SOJ, but I need a way to keep up FR to really make the damage worth it. Currently my Uliana's Quin build does 500-800million on just SSS individual hits and 900-2.5billion on EP crits. So I think other builds have a shiiiiiiiiiit ton of ways to come to compete with me doing up to 70 billion damage every 3 seconds.

Anyone 50+ GR tried the claw set + SWK EP set shit? The top dmg monk in 4's (as of last night) was using it. Think it's standard as last seasons build but with the cubed Convention and Fist + the monk claw set not being dick, I'm thinking EP's are probably hitting for the 10 billion range for that guy.

Odd that the helltooth lag never pops up in the all-WD lootshare runs tho.

Wellp, I'll focus on getting my hexchicken speedfarming build viable for t10 until it's sorted out I guess, if only because I'm out of death's breaths again.

Cube a furnace and orotz, wear enough cdr so you can keep WoTB up permanently along with other light cooldown usage. Ideal is to use Ignore Pain and WoTB during bosses, and TS - Demoralize and WoTB for trash. TS - Demo not required, just helps for clumping.

Use a skill that will actually trigger the other half of FnR.

Wind Shear isn't a great rune, blood funnel is a ton of healing and you can get all the rage you need from BK2 and weapon passive.

Bloodbath rune for Rend or don't use the skill at all.

Sash of Knives has an ICD of 1/APS(almost all proc-based legendaries have this), so it's pretty much garbage. PoC is standard choice for barbs. Sash of Ears is good too.

Regular amulets and bracers with proper offensive stats will be better than poorly statted ancients because the important stats on those pieces are almost all percentages.

WW affix on your helm instead of resist all.

Yea those are old skills it looks like. I've switched to blood funnel for WW and dropped rend entirely in favor of ground stomp just so I can get focus/restraint to work. Stomp feels clunky, but using any of the basic builders while whirlwinding is even worse feeling so meh.

My belt/amulet definitely suck, just not finding anything better yet. I think I have a string of ears I can switch to if the cooldown on knives is that long?

Finding a furnace is still my numero uno right now, but it's just not showing up so far.

1/APS isn't "long", it just isn't going to add much damage. Dust devils do close to 90% of your damage for that build.

I like using Furious Charge to trigger FnR.

I was really hoping threatening shout would trigger it, but meh. I switched over to a haunt of vexo or whatever that makes the shadow clones so gonna try stomp for now and see if the clones do anything that matter.

Does +whirlwind damage increase the tornado damage it procs, or just the melee damage?

is there anything fancy I can do to try and make a furnace besides just upgrade every yellow 2h mace I find?

I gave hex chicken a try on T10 but it's slow as shit tbh. I went full damage setup with like F&R on poison I can't even one shot elites with ancient majuma(both) and mostly ancient arachyr, which would be ok if the cd on hex wasn't atrociously long, and some of them even 3 or 4 chicken isn't enough, you need to bring white shit on top of them to kill them and stuff, it's way too much of a hassle for a result that's more or less slower than helltooth.

I farm faster just going full DPS helltooth, only replacing convention of element cube with unity for survivability then bane of the trapped/powerful and boon of the hoarder(for speed) with soul to waste harvest souls, fierce loyalty and grave injustice+spirit walk, I speed around really nicely and firewall resets instantly every pack which die in seconds anyway, a ton faster. Can even go InGeom, though the effect varies depending on the density of the rift, with sometimes being quite shitty. If anything, you replace piranhado with hex angry chicken and use majuma weapons to do helltooth, so you can chicken between packs, that'd be faster than actually trying to kill shit with chicken.
