Other than the buggy skills that were OP, I believe it was more on the weaker side than the OP side. The lack of mobility makes it a fairly crappy farmer, possibly the slowest of all classes, it's close to WD but the movespeed skill has a shorter cd on WD and can be refreshed constantly with the passive that reduces cd on kills, crusader isn't getting shit until 6pc set for Akarat cooldown thingie. In raw power it's alright, definitely one of the strongest burst as long as you only need to burst every ~15-20secs and it's extremely tanky naturally, just by having a shield. But I didn't follow the last couple of weeks of RoS beta so not entirely sure how it ended exactly, plus a lot of people stopped playing seriously/were playing other classes they liked more once the new smell wore off, so yeah don't know for sure.

I'd forgotten about the wings... looks like we're getting them in 3 days. Both standard and digital get them and you have until 3/31 to redeem a digital or retail key to get them.

Jeez you could make like 500-700k just doing Cursed Hold runs. Only takes like 15 minutes. I generally just TP to Leoric's, backtrack for xp, grab the shrine w/ nemesis bracers, go to Highland Crossing to get shrine, go to festering, hit any shrines w/ nemesis and clear the two dungeons there then just do keeps2/hold. Pretty good elites per minute, xp per minute and loot.

I was getting about 3millions per full story run from selling whites, granted that's not efficient farming but it was a nice bonus. At some point I was throwing away rares so I could carry more whites without having to go back to town yet. Act2 has quite a lot of weapon racks and crates too in Alcarnus and all the khule dungeons.

They're still valuable in RoS though, not for selling obviously and not even for crafting since you need a fairly limited amount, but because to craft legendaries/set, you need a white item of that slot in the recipe, which means those lvl 70 white items are actually going to be important to loot(at least the ones you plan on crafting).

Holy fuck they're forcing you to keep around a ton of white items just for crafting? Shit is moving backwards my stash is already pretty hard up for space. I felt the common debris was a pretty good middle ground.

Last video of beta RoS i watched people were getting 1 million+ gold for completing just one bounty, which is a few minutes of work. I don't know if its been rebalanced but that makes me think its not too important to try to scrounge up a few million gold on the AH before it goes down by dumping all of my gems and crafting goods.

Good to hear. Thinking about levelling one, but didn't want to play an OP class that would just get nerfed into oblivion in one patch - much like my precious launch DH.

Well yeah space wise it pretty much sucks but I guess you'll just loot the ones you have plans for and probably craft them right away. Might also change don't know that's what's on the game guide page on the 70 recipes they all have those. You also need unique materials for each legendary I think, or maybe it's one for multiple leg I haven't checked, but like that Adventurer's Journal that was already dropping is needed for Pendergrasps gloves, and then you also need white 70 gloves and some normal materials, so crafting 70 legendaries is not quite as common as it is now where you just craft them by the dozen and see which one is best.

You do get one more tab with RoS but meh, wish they gave more than that. Hell probably would pay 5bucks for another page like PoE.

I think I'm done until RoS comes out... hit paragon level 100 and finished my second "reset quests" playthrough last night. I don't want to get burned out before RoS comes out, which I actually haven't even pre-ordered. I had a lot of fun since 2.0 came out but I want to make sure that desire to play lasts before I buy the expansion.

I'm in the same boat as you, I relapsed to get a wizard back up to 60 before the expansion hit but now i'm going to stop until the expansion actually hits as well. Gotta preserve that desire to grind~
Plus theres a metric cockload of games this month.. I need to get yaiba: ninja gaiden z tomorrow, that and DaS2 will hold me over until RoS lol

Same boat. Was having fun and may log in here and there and do a run but won't grind. Not to mention it is somewhat boring knowing whatever drops I get now will be obsolete in a few weeks.

I'm trying to get one of each class to 60 while the XP bonus is in effect. I am on 42 on my Monk but couldn't play all of yesterday because of crippling lag. Gah. I still have to get a DH from 1 - 60. Anyone want to Torment PL me?

Blizzard expansions have always been about mudflating the fuck out of the economy to create a level playing field and incentivize people to come back. Considering how many billions worth of gold veterans have saved up by now, I don't know why people think bringing gold into the expansion will matter one bit. Blizzard won't let the pre-expansion fortunes (in many cases gained by botting or worse) affect the post-expansion economy in any meaningful way.

I expect we will make tens of millions of gold per hour in RoS, and that the real bottlenecks will be something else to boot.

So the wings are available now or you get them when you redeem your RoS key on launch your day?

The Wings of Valor will be automatically sent to your existing and any newly created Diablo III characters via an in-game notification starting March 20, 2014.

Obviously you need to have redeemed your key for them to be sent.

I did some quick HoA3 -> Cursed Hold runs for whites during lunch sold them all instantly at 40k, so back to it until the AH closes once I get home. Looked on HC and whites are 9999 though, was going to try to stockpile there as well.

The only things that matter for farming atm are:
- Hellfire Rings, as we don't know how hard they will be to get in the expansion - probably harder, at launch at least
- Leveling alts to 60 (all 5 classes for SC, extras for HC), as we have 50% xp bonus atm, and equip them with basic gear
- To some excent: Paragon levels, as we have 50% xp bonus. I expect we will farm Paragon way faster at 70 though, so this means much less

Gear / Gold will get mudflated faster than you can say Diablo, so I don't see why one would bother.
