Anyone still play lightning/stun wiz / how viable is it? I got a ring that gives lighting damage a chance to stun, an ammy that increase duration of all my stuns, and on my dh I was using the quiver that makes bolas explode immediately with thunder ball bolas and dazzling cluster arrows and am able to permastun my main target and overall keep shit pretty locked down so I was thinking of making a build/gearing around that, but I'm wondering if I would just be better off gearing out a wizard in that manner for that purpose. Does shit stay pretty stunned with lightning wiz, or is it moreso just nice utility?

Alright so I never did Split Bounty farming until today so unless this is how it was before I apologize. They defiantly nerfed it in 1 aspect as I will explain, and to note I think this is a good thing personally.

Either if you did not participate or are not in the immediate area you do not get gold / xp / keystones/ bloodshards from bounty rewards. This was tested a few times across acts, across same act, inside and outside of caves, etc. This directly nerfs power leveling mostly, people who were doing split farming typically were not doing it for xp.

Second change was that to do the boss kill bounties it makes all people in the game do it now, regardless if they are not in the same act. I was not able to do Izual in Act 4 while my partner was doing a bounty in act 5 even if he canceled the fight, which you could do before.

Anyways its still the fastest way to farm caches, but I suspect they will change the cache rewards next to prevent people who did not do anything from receiving them.

Don't stuns (and all CC) have diminishing returns when applied more than once? Seems to me a build based around stunlocking won't work well if that's in fact the case.

Unrelated, but does anyone know if you can get the 4 piece set bonus active from another classes set fromRing of Royal Grandeur? Meaning, could a demon hunter wear the 3 universal pieces of Inna's and the ring to activate the 4 piece bonus and have 4 monk mantras active?

You still get SOME bounties xp/gold reward thing, I don't think you get all of them, probably a specific type I'm not sure but I went into a pub game to check and I was getting completion popups every now and then. As for not being able to enter the fight, that happens when someone is already fighting a boss. You can't fight 2 bosses at the same time. I had no issue soloing malthael while the other people were doing whatever, and some guy killed butcher while I was doing my act5 shit. I don't think anything has changed.

We were doing it last night and all getting the bounties (5 caches) and even the xp from events and shit. Although we would all get the boss invite, we could decline it. We ran this a bunch on hard because it seems to be the best way to farm gold.

I am interested in this as well. The boss fight accepting/declining doesn't seem easily hotfixed considering its been apart of the game since forever.

Yeah, it does have diminishing returns in that if you stun the same target multiple times in a row the duration of the stun is less each time to a certain point, so it just makes future stuns less effective, but if you're stunning so much it doesn't matter you can still stun lock.

What I have noticed is a cooldown for the stun to affect the mob that is player specific and skill specific. Also using a stun ability on a mob that is already affected by a stun won't trigger their immunity timer for your use of the skill.

Example: 2 mages are spamming shock on a monster. The first mages shock stuns for full duration, then the second mage stuns for full duration. Then the first mage drops a stun bubble on the monster, it stuns for full duration. Then the second mage drops his stun bubble, it stuns for full duration. Not too long after the cooldown for the stun on their shocks will be up and will trigger, and the cycle continues.

So there is a Amulet called "Overwhemling Desire". It has a chance on hit to charm the enemy and make them take 35% extra damage.

Chance on hit affixes are modified by your skill coefficient. Tempest Rush does NOT have a large coefficient, so you won't see much in the way of charms while using it.

My Monk is getting decent, though still tons of room for improvement. 667k damage, 9250 armor, 1130 all res, 356k hp. I wish I could get some class set pieces, a good SOJ, and a good off-hand.

The gambler is still completely terrible for me.

The legendary drop increase doesn't seem to be that much. Farming T1 I seemed to be averaging 1 every 1-1.5 hours if you don't count plans or anything gambled.

If anyone's looking to swap power leveling, I've got a crusader I'd like boosted up to 60. I can handle torment 6 through level 50ish then drop it down to torment 3-5 til 60. Takes about an hour if starting from 1 on story mode. Dandai#1755 or PM me.
