Yeah that's the thing I'm wondering, survivability isn't an issue for DH with the way it's designed with smokescreen+that legendary bug thing, but killing mobs in time seems like it'd be problematic without furnace to chunk them down to 10% or exploding palm to do 100% mob hp dmg after killing one.Monster HP gets so high, I have no clue how a DH would kill stuff all the way to level 100.
We are, indeed, redesigning the 6-Piece Set Bonus for Firebird's Finery. In this case, it's been completely redesigned, though we do want to keep Fire thematically appropriate to the set. We've removed the on-death qualifier from the set bonus, and dealing Fire damage will now cause enemies to start burning for the same amount of damage over 3 seconds, stacking up to a total of 3000% weapon damage as Fire per second. Once that cap is reached, enemies will instead burn until they die.
You'll be able to give this new set bonus a try in the next PTR patch, which we should be looking at arriving pretty soon. As always, be sure to let us know what you think when you give it a whirl!

Ok thanks. Guessing its pretty low odds and takes a fuck ton. Probably only spent 350 shards maybe and all blues and yellows.
Stick with the crusader till you get a gryfalcon's foote. then you'll enjoy it a whole ton more. a jekangbord is just gravy on top of that.Bleh, I can't decide what I want to play. I enjoy DH, but I am so damn tired of kiting. That and all day of a1 split farming for a RoRG have left me a little irritated with it (damn thing dropped a nagelring on my 89th bounty just to troll me). Tried crusader but the resource management annoys me. Only just got 70 on it and doing a blessed hammer fire build since I have no gear yet and I can't stand the build.
Any suggestions on what you guys recommend is fun to play at lower torments before a ton of gear?
What didn't you like about blessed hammer? The fire rune isn't that great until you can take advantage of the extra damage it does, so it's only suited for higher torments. Give the holy rune a try and basically stutter step instead of stop and cast. Hammer few steps hammer few steps, repeat. Things you don't kill will chase after you and will be killed by the next few hammers you cast. Save your cooldowns for fatties, don't kill them just with hammers. Blessed hammer is the easiest build to go generator-less.Bleh, I can't decide what I want to play. I enjoy DH, but I am so damn tired of kiting. All foote is good for is making players think they can play on a higher torment than they should because they don't have to worry about resource management. It's quite easy to run a blessed shield build without foote AND no wrath builders. It's not that great a build since getting nerfed anyway.Stick with the crusader till you get a gryfalcon's foote. then you'll enjoy it a whole ton more. a jekangbord is just gravy on top of that.
