Just like you've said before - and like Xevy Xevy just said - we need a filter something fierce within the game. I recall one of the devs getting off about how loot "rained down from the sky" when you open a chest and its probably someone in charge that thinks a filter takes away that "joy."

Really wish they had a leaderboard. Not that I'd expect to hit top 10 or anything, but it was always a nice way to see how you were doing and check other people in similar gears builds for comparison and notes. The game looks better, but besides just hitting 100 I'm not sure there's anything to do to keep long term players. No market to sell rare finds and ubers and uber uniques are nice and all, but without that competition of a leaderboard or currency hoarding it just doesn't feel deep enough.

Agree with everyone saying until they get rid of 50-60% of the affixes, improve loot overall but especially in the end game, and give something to do other than NMD, game is dead to me.

I have no beef with all affixes being room temperature, as long as long as like you said, health on mobs is nerfed accordingly and my clear speeds are the same if not faster. They claim that will be the case.

PoE players are used to this shit even with filters, but it's definitely tedious and after a point you'll just say fuck it and stop picking up items altogether.

PoE players are also used to being able to say fuck it, throw that shit in a tab and see if someone buys it for X. Either plug a loot filter in this or setup a trade site so you can search for the shit you want, let some other peon / bot do that leg work.

I'd say 3-4 or an expansion. A bit quicker than d3's turn around(which took until reaper of souls iirc).

Really depends if they continue to be desperate and are basically forced to make make big changes to bring players back. If enough come back, that they get lazy/complacent again, then the D3 route might be the measuring stick(iirc that expansion took 2 years to come out after initial release).

I think most of the conversations started with "Good changes. But they still didnt do anything worth a fuck to make me want to play it again."

Which is true. Instead of actual content - which should be the meat and bones of a season release, we're getting a multipage list of bug fixes and changes to EXISTING content. From all the teasers, the actual content of the season is "bear ass" minimum. Im thankful for the fixes/changes, of course. But that alone isnt going to make me come back to the game. "Oh look - an NPC Ive killed 10,000 times over is now "red colored" to denote that its a vampire! Neat!..... .. ."

These changes to me are like what a good beta patch is before launch.

Unfortunately the only memories I have at this point are of being bored as fuck with builder spender everything and the oppressively boring over world.

It's not beyond repair however seeing that they can not give you a gem tab but have to place a second stash in every town "because the code is too complicated" leaves little hope. They really had done this completely external or something like that. Embarassing.

I logged in for the 1st time in weeks. World Boss was up in two minutes. Went to kill him. He was dead in ten seconds. Logged off.

I will at least log in Tuesday and see if all these changes made a difference in fun/grind.

Also as far as loot. I am curious about the following...
