We did some dungeons as a 3 man.

FUCK THAT. Those things are like 80% fine for a good group, but there's some major bullshit that makes them just giga oneshot offscreen traps. The loot is pretty insane, but it took us like 45 minutes to full clear the 2 we had and one actually bugged and we couldn't go to the "2nd floor".

Yea the dungeons are crazy. I'm not sure how I'd even approach those in HC?

T3 maps are pretty spooky as is, and some of the bosses are just not viable to fight for the most part.

Yeah, you wouldn't do them in HC. Period. It is KIND of fun if you dungeon crawl it and inch and inch, but the way mobs work in this game your backline eventually just gets some random mobs from 2 screens over that wander over and fuck your artillery classes up. The bosses are major, major bullshit as well. Y'ALL LIKE INVINCIBLE GLOAMS? CUZ YOU CAN GET SOME!

We farmed the chapel dungeon for the final push in HC sometimes

It's a bit over the top with the ASCII art, but it shows more crafting bases which I like

Season is still pretty healthy. 5k+ people online today 4 weeks in. Those PoE streamers added a nice bit of exposure.

Found out about a single player offline mod for D2R called D2R Reimagined. Thousands of new items, runewords, recipes etc and no immunities.

After being really disappointed with PoE2 and finally caving and buying D4 and lasting less than 4 days with it I've really enjoyed D2RR for the last month. Possibly the best DIablo experience I've ever had.

It's a shame that it's single player though you can download complete chars and mules from the Discord user files channel and duping is easy if that's your thing.


Heads up that this Thursday (02/13/25) they are releasing 2.0 which is a huge update which reintroduces immunities (with numerous ways to break them) and lots more items and choices. It's going to be standalone from the present version. You will be able to have both versions installed simultaneously although characters will not be cross compatible.

25 years later having fun with this again, got w Demon Machine randomly in SP, was gonna roll a budget Nova Sorc, but the stars aligned ….5 socket poison jeweled bow until 49!
