Click on the tower icon and estimate the amount of zombies EVERY day, this gives us a better understanding of how many zombies will attack. The more people that do, the more accurate the number of zombies that will attack.
Vote on the "Project of the Day" every single day as well. schnarkie will give instructions as what to vote for. Will probably be Watchtower the first 5 days (gives us a nice view of our surroundings).
Absolutely *DO NOT* build or upgrade your personal home unless instructed to. This is almost strictly to benefit yourself instead of everyone as a whole.
You must drink water at least every 2 or 3 days at the very least (3 I believe?) or you will dehydrate and die. Drinking water will refill your AP (action points), so only drink water after you have depleted your AP.

Few things we're discovering:
Random people are dumb.
Guardians are OP and can assemble shit for free as watchmen - weird but whatever!
Ruins apparently give a blueprint that can be a duplicate, so you wanna save unopened ones until you've searched all the ruins, THEN open them for what will be a new one.
Don't camp non-buildings; it is dump. You camp buildings for the blueprints, and if you have extra ap you need to improve the building campsites.
Tent/hovel is unneccesary unless you're a hero going for the special stuff. Don't build it for the defense; just don't do it!
Check irc/forums before you do stuff. Someone may need help, or already be going for what you had planned to do.

If there is a spare water in the bank, take that and go ahead and combine them into cement blocks and then put those in the bank. Otherwise, just put it in the bank and someone else will do it eventually.
