Yeah, I sure wouldn't still have Disney+ if it wasn't bundled with my cable / internet subscription.

Which makes you wonder if getting bundles with the largest cable providers wasn't Disney's actual growth plan, or if not, if they'll quietly kill those deals once the individual monthly rate is a sufficient multiple of the 'wholesale' rate Disney is charging Charter or Comcast or Cox.

If I hadn't dumped them after the ABC debate, I would have with this.

Their business model as far as it is affected me personally...is essentially make less of what I want (Star Wars and MCU), make the few show that they do make just plain fucking awful and now raise the price.

Yeah, not for me.

What content are they providing for that price? A bunch of gay overpriced failures? I don't understand what they think the value proposition i when the blast of new shows are behind them now (Mando/Andor/etc.)

They announced that they are making fewer shows from now on so that in theory they will be better shows. The reality is that they can't afford to make a lot of shows anymore because each one costs 200 million and they all flop.

This just seems like Kickstarter with extra steps. In the 'old days' companies used to have to produce the product first before they charged for it.
