I'm a big Moon Knight fan and this casting doesn't really bother me. I just assumed they were gonna kind of gloss over the Jewish part of the character and focus on Khonshu anyway.

$1.99 is being kind. at my local thrift store they give these away 4 for a dollar. Mrs Doubtfire has been on the DVD bin for months.
or just ya know, watch it for free on youtube.

I mean the book IS better than the movie, but that's really not saying much. It's just a really blatant hodge podge of other fantasy/sci fi that the author liked, and it never would have been published if his parents didn't own a publishing company. It's mostly a Star Wars/Dragonriders of Pern mashup and it takes him too long to make the story uniquely his.

I feel like he has been saying this for many years at this point, but I can't find any proof of that cause there are now 1000 articles from a few weeks ago. Cause it always brings up the funny stories for people who are old enough to have seen Short Circuit 1& 2 as kids and their moment of "where were you when you found out Fischer Stevens was a white guy?". For me it was Hackers.
