Best animated movie I have seen in a LONG time, great great great. I usually hate musicals, but this had a few numbers that I think can stand up to anything else that Disney has ever done before.

After Brave, which I had high hopes for and it didn't live up to, this lived up to everything and more. Must see.

Brave was pretty terrible yeah.

Have you seen wreck it ralph, paranorman, and Tangled?

Tangled annoyed me due to the constantly (not great) singing. It was like watching an animated play.

Wreck it Ralph was the shit though.

We also really love Despicable Me. Picked up #2 for the wife for Christmas. I think our daughter will enjoy it also. I mean, she's going to be 2 in January, but that movie is still over her head. She currently just sees the silly creatures and giggles.

Best part:
Christoph's sleigh lying in ruins at the bottom of a 100 ft drop, and then suddenly exploding into a fireball. Me, and about 3 other Dads all laughed hard at that while the women and girls were "what?"
That part got me, as well as the vendor with the supply and demand problem.

I have to agree with Sutekh. Went with my brother and my nieces and nephew and everyone loved it. It kept my 4 year old nephew glued to the screen.

I felt like this movie needed to be about another hour long. The whole thing felt really rushed, and didn't give much time to develop characters. That being said, I haven't went to the movies to see a Disney film in...forever...and I actually went to see this one, and enjoyed it. Just thought it could have been a bit better.

Loved tangled but I thought this movie had way to much singing in the beginning and was driving me to drink

Heh my wife said the same thing, I loved Kristin Bell's singing though so I didn't mind it at all.

Yeah, I've been listening to that version for the past few days. I absolutely love it. Love the Japanese one.
