I'm having a lot of trouble with the camera and clicking on shit. Not sure how to explain it but it's not working properly. Played for a few hours and I feel like every 10 mins I need to reload because I stole something I didn't mean to or attacked someone.

Fuck the scarecrow fight in early Act 2. Had to give that one about four tries. Even the fight that bridges Act 1 and 2 only took two attempts and that one sucked balls. Stupid Terror Aura.

Also, when you guys get to the Void Chicken quest, escort him to his father, the enemies in the resultant fight can drop Source Orbs. I got three from that easy fight.

You can only attack people by pressing Ctrl. For movement I just keep the button pressed like arpg movement so it doesn't pick up stuff, never had much of an issue. I tend to pick up everything to resell anyway but even when I don't, I don't see how you end up clicking the 3pixels wide spoons and shit instead of the NPCs. And it's not like there's anything else to click where there's stuff to be stolen, since it's generally on tables and what not so you're not moving through them.

Reactive armor confirmed godmode for all you sword+board people out there. Geomancy largely was very meh until this, but now he's my best damage.

I was a tad of a newbie when I walked into this game as well. Kept getting killed by Griff and that GD Butter. Until I leveled myself and one of Griff's guys wasn't there. Then, I finally knocked his ass out. Was just watching Tangent's stream on his sixth (yes, count them, sixth) character build, and he was doing some stuff that I didn't even know was possible. He was finding stuff that I didn't know was there. Like teleporting stuff all around and teleporting your team members up to certain points.

So, anyway, I'm already in the castle and have moved past it. Good to know for my next play through, though.

Yeah RA is dumb damage and shields are entirely too good with their passive and bouncing shield skill. It's crazy how high they are scaling and I'm only L13.

I'm basically unkillable with almost 300PA/300MA/1800 HP or so on both characters thanks to lone wolf. Running double summoner with teleport/bouncing shield using any stat 1h/shield while stacking mostly con since all the damage comes from pets/shield/pa.

I spent a few hours just trying out other builds and nothing comes close without using a lot of set up / cheese.

Love this game, but one wish I have is that they would add the "hold key for search" ability for the keyboard similarly to when you use a controller. Unless there is one that I missed? On a controller you can just hold X (A) and a search radius will spread around you and tag everything for looting. UI is far better on keyboard/mouse, so that is what I use, but that search ability is something that is just so much better than clicking everything. In this game, they even made it so searched containers no longer come up when you search / disappear after searching them.

I love love this game but 2 things I have a problem with, inventory management due to min/max the luck and barter skills between two chars, and the fact that persuasion never seems to work. I think i've had like 1 success out of 10 or 15 or so.

Did anyone manage to find all the pieces of B.R.'s armor in Act 1?

The helmet is behind the door opened by the cursed lever in the Ruined Castle, the chest is in Braccus Rex's armory with the soul jars and purging wand, and the gloves are in Bracus Rex's tower, but I couldn't find the pants or shoes.

Persuasion works great for me? It can be very stat dependent though; don't try and use a str persuade on your face character if they have a base 10 str, regardless of how many points are in your persuasion.

Yep, it mostly sucks and you'll replace it all immediately upon leaving the island, but it's free xp.

Only hard piece to get was:

In the ancient passage where the soul jar with withermoore is, one of the statues up the ladders has a hidden compartment that takes a pretty high wits score to be able to see (like 15 maybe?) that has the gloves

- The other pieces are in the the tower with all the lightning clouds on a beach (near the witch from the ship) and in the room with Withermoores soul jars. You need to interact with one of the statues.

One of them is up a tower a bit northwest of the ruined castle next to the big boat, have to follow the beach to get there, use teleport or whatever to get up the to grab the chest, at least that's how I did it, it's a bit of a weird one since all the others are in obvious Bracus Rex places and this one's kinda whatever. Other one is in the illusion cave thing, you get a quest telling you about it but otherwise go to amadia, then walk out east following the beach, there's a fight with some voidwoken monsters and if you keep hugging the beach, there's a cave entrance that'll appear in the mountain, basically under the maze area.

Since not sure about the description you used, the others are in the Armoury, cursed lever thing, another in the tower after the maze with the necromancers and last one is in the magister fort in a secret passage where withermoon jar is

Wasn't sure about this spell, guess I'll get 2geo on my tank and give him that then. I've been getting some pretty good stuff on him already, the throw slime thing from Polymorph scales on str and seems to do fairly good damage considering and I was gonna just light it up with my fire mage or dragon breath.

Downloaded on my laptop to Widdle away when I travel for work. Going to go on tactician and slowly progress that game.

Was thinking
Custom: Undead 2 hand Inquistor
Thane: Fighter Sword and Board
Elf Chick: Geo/Hydro Mage with dual poison Wands
Wolf Man: Ranger with minor geo focus

Gives me 2 undead front liners who my Geo can blow up with poison spells for heals and damage. Self heals and shield respectively will keep them alive along with poison heals.

Ranger finally came online abit in my other game and I wanted a finess person on the team. Let's me keep 2 of them pretty far separated, has my healer being heavily damage focused etc. love my rogue in other game but just tired of so much ele damage.

On console it picks up everything at once I think, and also work on containers or something, it's better from what I heard. That said the sooner you stop looting every bread and fish around the better imo, most of this shit is completely worthless, I don't think I've ever used food in the first one, and I don't plan on this one, and once you stop looting food, there's really not that much to loot. The most annoying is hitting every container because with lucky charm it's a ton of free items. I have 6lucky charm now and I feel it procs like every 10containers giving a purple or pink item, shit's pretty crazy for finding gear. Meanwhile thievery lets me pickpocket up to 6k per NPC so money has been largely a non factor for a while, it's pretty nice. I remember in the first game it was the same until you hit endgame and were resetting the endgame vendors for uniques and shit though then most of the money would disappear quickly(or if you did the 1stat book per level thing but iirc it wasn't meant to be that way and they fixed it in EE).

Not in the same way. With a controller, you can also highlight items by clicking the right bumper (toggles the same things as holding down ALT on the keyboard), but same as with a keyboard, that doesn't mark chests and the likes, just items.

However, holding down X (or A on 360) with a controller a search radius extends out from you, then everything that is caught in it opens up in a loot window. From that you can select to open any crate, chest, etc, as well as pick up any item that is in the search radius. It also tags mines, traps, switches. Basically anything you can interact with except NPCS. Your character automatically moves to pick up / interact with items without closing the list. It is also extremely convenient when having to loot things quickly while stealing while people are patrolling too.

It's much faster, it removes a lot of clicking and you do a much more thorough search since you never have to worry about missing looting a box or something even if 10+ are stacked on top of each other.

I understand why they added that feature on a controller since you can't as easily select things without the accuracy of a mouse, but I have no idea why that feature is only on controller mode since it is simply just a good addition to the UI and gameplay regardless of using a controller or mouse and keyboard. We have the extra buttons to map it to, and it is so convenient it would be an automatic mouse 4 thumb button addition for me. There are no downsides to having it, it is just flat out better to have it than to not.

Took some pictures of the search feature

1) Search radius

Div 2 search.jpg

2) Item window that appears

Div 2 search 2.jpg

3) Various options you can use on items in the window

Div 2 search 3.jpg

In that spot 57 items came up on the list. Can see which items cause aggro from stealing and which don't, then interact with the items as well. It's so convenient that it is really noticeable that it isn't there once you've tried it.

Forgot to pick pet pal when I had the chance first. Thought I get a new skill point for it like 2 levels later, but nope. Annoying, but too far to restart now.
