Yeah STR and man at arms skill, also helps to weaken them first via whatever makes them weak(rain for fire mobs etc).Str for fighter I think. like 115% chance to knockdown. from 10 str or whatever. But, thats 115% into their resists of lets say 30% resist to KD. SO, only 85% of actually KD, minus miss rate, and outright immune.
Something like that.
the witch is your magic CC/debuff specialist.
As mentioned, Str helps your knock-down, I believe it is Dex for rogues trip/blind/stun. They are particularly important on 'Hard' or when fighting a higher level mob since you have a 100% chance to hit a prone or stunned mob. Also, a door blocked up with stunned mobs prevents others from pathing into the room.A lot of the scrolls are useful for clearing/preventing CC. Spread them out on your characters. Ice/electric fields are really good for AoE CC as you can get immunity to them and mobs have to save multiple times when they run through them. Debuffing bodybuilding will help knockdown chance. Do all of the skills soft cap at 5?
It has been a rough decade for anyone looking for even a little bit of tactical requirement from their games. I am really hoping the success of this one trickles down to some future games (I am looking at you Torment: Tides of Nymera and WasteLand 2) so they make the 'hard' setting in their games mean something. That being said, the last 10-15yrs of rpgs that hold your hand... I can see where folks might have a little frustration w/ Original Sin, at the start.
Is debuff worth it? Combat is pretty tight and not alot of time to waste, I find.Str for fighter I think. like 115% chance to knockdown. from 10 str or whatever. But, thats 115% into their resists of lets say 30% resist to KD. SO, only 85% of actually KD, minus miss rate, and outright immune.

Not sure on either of those sorry. Here is a pretty complete list, but those aren't on itIs debuff worth it? Combat is pretty tight and not alot of time to waste, I find.
Also, anyone know a receipe for the Identify item and the trap tool? I found lockpicks are 9in nails + hammer.
I don't know a recipe, but I've found two identifying glasses and bought one, for around 100'ish I believe. You only ever need the one, from what I understand, right? Is debuff worth it? Combat is pretty tight and not alot of time to waste, I find.

Unfortunately, I haven't been paying THAT much attention to it, mostly because I just recently figured out what it was healing my shadowblade. I can only say it procs often, like each physical hit you take and I'm pretty sure each hit you make on a humanoid target, so if you get hit for 30x2 and heal 12x2 because of it, you basically just took 40% less damage.Does anyone know if the leech talent is based on a % of total health or how it scales in general as you level?
Nah, got an average, ~3 yr old pc and fresh loads take ~1 minute, 2-3s quick save, and quick loads ~10 seconds.I like this game, but I don't think I can continue to play it. It takes FOREVER to load saves or transition areas, and with the amount of quicksaving/loading I can see later on, I just cant sit there for 2-4 minutes each time it wants to load. my harddrive is pretty quick and has no problems loading any other games, even high performance ones. Is anyone else experiencing extremely long loading times?
