Best review I've seen of the game. Pretty much agree with all points.

The vast majority of FPS single-player campaigns in the past ~10 years or so were a boring slog that I powered through "just to finish". A big recent exception is Titanfall 2 with extreme Half-Life vibes. But ... Halo, COD, BF, GoW, etc. all had generic boring as fuck SP campaigns. But I guess the main selling point of those games is multiplayer.

Does kinda suck that the Doom MP isn't so great. It was like a different design team was responsible for it.
