Feels like Mouz's style is really close to working, but it takes some damn near perfect execution. Obviously a little more talent would go a long way too. I swear Fata is a no show in every game.

To me, its like a baseball analogy where you have a power hitter who hits 3/4 of his homeruns on fastballs and then you pitch them nothing but fastballs. I think Alliance, while individually skilled esp in their supports, isn't a standout team above others when they draft conventional lineups. Letting them have Wisp and NP is like pitching into their wheelhouse. Just force them to do what they rather wouldn't imo.

Yeah, I also feel like eastern teams can shit on them with carry naga, which rats even harder than furion. Alliance is very disciplined, so they rarely overextend, which is exactly what C9 was hoping for, because they didn't have Disruptor/Kunkka to fuck Furion.

In game one were they supposed to give Alliance Lycan instead on dire? The issue with game-2 was giving them both those heroes, it might have been better if C9 had picked Storm over Mirana he might have been able to close the gap with prophet and prevent TPs. Regardless there does seem to be something fundamentally broken with those heroes when they can win every fight for 30-40 minutes and be completely unable to leave their base.

NP and Wisp really ought to have been given bigger changes last year, but the meta moved away from them for a while and has unfortunately come back in time to break another TI.

Just spitballing some ideas, combining all of them would be overkill....

Prophet:
  • Show prophet TPs on the mini-map like relocate
  • Interrupting prophet TP results in ability CD (like a scroll)
  • Tie prophet TP and scroll/bots timers
  • Don't allow sprout to be converted into treants (thus no porting on a tower and getting 5 free treants)
  • limit areas prophet can TP to
  • early treants should be less tanky, too easy to block spawns etc.
  • increase treant timer to prevent two simultaneous sets

Wisp:
  • Don't allow return while wisp is disabled (e.g. wisp is in blackhole)
  • longer windup or animate them across the map ala AA ultimate
  • break stuns/disables on TP destination - tether stun was removed for this reason
  • remove move speed bonus
  • tinker with duration relocate duration / cd
  • remove relocate, he's unique and provides somme utility without it (e.g. double heals, double mana, attack speed)

Some other stuff I'd like to see changed:

  • don't allow BotS on player controlled units, seems like you can't TP to a hero for a good reason
  • tranquil jungling, just make them based on the last time you (were) attacked whether they were in the inventory or not
  • Treant - would like to see the global range of heal removed, globally preventing ganks and healing towers without placing the hero in danger feels broken.
