Makes me wonder if techies is never picked on eastern servers. They even kept rocketing the area while kuroky was placing mines so they knew he was there.

Yeah pretty much. Despite it looking like a really good game, I kinda question how close it really was.

That game was never really close past 20 minutes. Secret got outdrafted big time.
Curse on Sven + Razor static link makes him come out of curse as a gimp with no damage and then Secret has no damage other than Zeus (who opted for dagon over refresher which was odd). Nasty combo. The sustain too with wyvern heal (along with glimmer cape)+ phoenix heal was just too much for Secret...that big fight in mid kinda showed it.

Secret had a shot somewhere around the time RTZ had MoM/BKB/AC and if they won a teamfight or two, they could snowball and take a rax rather easily. After that everybody got blinks and lvl 16, so they could play the teamfights relatively comfortably, so they tried some ratting, but EG just held onto the game, as possibly the only team on the planet.
Ya to me the issue was that EG had no one to worry about other than Sven. It felt like the only heroes in fights that had an impact were Sven & Wisp, Zeus didn't seem to have damage (bloodstone+dagon did nothing, would be better to see refresher, aghs, octarine...), Tusk just randomly punched folks and Dazzle weaved?
During the draft I thought Secret might go Sven but to me Tiny has advantages vs Wyvern, there were a few instances where Sven had someone low but clutch embraces saved them which might not have happened with avalanche & toss. Craggy might have contributed to a lucky stuns.

I just woke up and turned on this stream. This Secret comp seems way tougher if the game lasts.
Question: Just as I turned it on I noticed one team banned KOTL. What's the logic? Seems generally such a subpar support, although I noticed one playing yesterday too. I'm always curious of the pro chess-like mindset in banning things I don't see the reason for.
