It's been quite a while since he was added. I think he was just recently added to CM... haven't seen a game with him, but I haven't watched much Dota1 either.

is... is Navi out of The Defense ? I always thought they'd lose to VP or Empire, but Fnatic seem like the kings of upsets, Navi was playing pretty well lately, with their Axe and pretty good drafts, winning EMS 1

Fnatic was amazing in HoN, I wouldn't call any of their wins upsets anymore. When they started in Dota2 you could see how much relearning they had to do, but they've been playing really well for a while (ever since they got trixi back I guess).

Yeah, but after g1 I suspected Navi would continue their rampage, they beat Fnatic 2:1 earlier this week. I guess their veno pick got solved pretty quickly with longer games.

Yea I wouldn't call any of Fnactic's wins upsets by any means at this point. I'd go as far to say as they are one of the best Euro teams right now with potential to get even better in the future.

I won't pretend my understanding of Dota 2 is super good, but one of the best means like top 5 ? Navi/Empire/VP/nth/Fnatic with anyone being able to beat anyone, depending on picks and recent form, which is why I said it was surprising because Navi was on the ball recently.

Bloodseeker pick in g2 nth vs RDM in D2L: offlane vs Magnus, silence kinda useful vs Naix so he can't rage, several ruptures useless due to TPs, but he is still pretty bad, the game was about nth stomping all the lanes and it just snowballing from there.

The thing about those rankings that I have a problem with, is how often do you see Chinese teams going against anyone other than other Chinese teams? Almost never.

Also, is this like AOE3 in any way? I know its considered an RTS but if you had any kind of skill in AOE would it translate at all?

That doesn't bother me at all, It was a legitimate question. When people say 'one of the best' it's a very broad term that has multiple different meanings. I just wanted to know where you classified them.

If you're comfortable with general selection, unit movement etc of the RTS genre the ui makes comfortable sense along with how the minimap works and how to navigate around the map quickly. Other than that, I'd say RTS experience beyond that doesn't exactly translate, game is quite different past the interface details.
