yeah that BG vs. DE game was the first Korean dota I've watched and it was like, 'umm.. this is a tournament?'Korea dota is not yet the best dota. The games i watched were hilariously bad and one sided, but its totally awesome to see a big broadcast tournament with seemingly teams that aren't even comprised of 5 players who queue in the basic levels of vhigh.
Maybe it's cause I'm in the UK and play EU hours but my "anyone wanna play?" in the channel will go unanswered. Rethan seems to be the only person that bothers to set up a Party and that people respond to. But you do raise a good point, playing with Rethan is the only experience I get of trilanes, not last-hitting on supports, sacrificing items for wards etc and it is a big skill jump......my point is there must be more people around my skill bracket in the channel but everyone stays quiet. So folks just queue alone - which I feel defeats the purpose of the game in many ways.
I'd like everyone's feedback and perhaps we can come up with a good system to get this done on the forums, with so many new faces in the guild and the game soon becoming launch ready, this is a serious barrier to both playing with the community that people know in the context of an extremely hard game to master.
I've just started making open parties when queueing solo.Maybe it's cause I'm in the UK and play EU hours but my "anyone wanna play?" in the channel will go unanswered. Hell, there's enough people that surely we could set up inhouse 5v5s for shits and giggles?
Just realised what this feature does, I'll start doing the same...gonna hook up my mic as wellI've just started making open parties when queueing solo.
