So you thought that I was posting a legit spoiler for a movie that only has its first trailer released and is still in the middle of filming?

You really looked at that spoiler and said to yourself: "Self, a_skeleton_03 never plays pranks I shall click on this spoiler only a few days before STAR Wars in a thread named STAR Trek even though it's completely ambiguous and obviously he is Ackbaring me. I want this Star Trek movie spoiled for me, no way do I want Star Wars spoiled though." you said that? You thought that?

You then got had and obviously noticed it was a joke and then you cried to mommy and daddy?

You then QUOTED it so that even if my post was edited by the mods someone else might click yours to see why I had been RRP'ed and then they might have it spoiled?!?!

Where is your RRP for perpetuating the spoiler longer than mine was up there for?

If it was a legit spoiler I would expect no less. I expect to serve my entire 24 hours. It was fun. We planned it all out in IRC and I knew what was going to happen.

Unlike Chanur there I am a man and take my lumps.

Here's the question, if just posting fake spoilers though has such a harsh sentence shouldn't the people who quoted it and thus perpetuated it for hours be RRP'ed as well. If the mere possibility of a spoiler is going to have such dire consequences shouldn't they know better to not quote it?

We all know my joke was harmless they obviously did not believe so at the time yet still quoted it willfully.

RRP posts do not increment the counter, maybe I will post something huge on post # 11,111 though. Something to shock Chanur and bring him crying to the moderators yet quote it and not edit it for hours so everyone else has to see it as well.

It can't be proven that I did so with malicious intent either.

We can't know that this isn't a con job from Chanur wanting to troll.

That's the thing with zero tolerance policies, there is no room for interpretation. You swing the axe on everyone.

If it was porn in the general forum and someone quoted it they would "know better" and would get the RRP treatment.

They should get an equal sentence now.

No. If we are smart. We aren't smart though. We drew the line in the sand and as a result they should be punished and maybe a harsher punishment. They didn't think I was joking so quoting me was harmful.

Zero tolerance is what got us into the drug war that has brought this country down.
