They all are except that one. I didn't know if she truly had a brother like her story said and I denied or if she was truly an addict but it got me a lot of "internet cred" at the time and I knew she wasn't coming back to the forums to dispute it. The vicodin story was a way to make me look reliable by self deprecation. You might be familiar with this concept, Christians do it all the time to make themselves look good. Think of it like negging in the dating world but to yourself. You come off as not a threat and if he opened up about his mistake he must be telling the truth about her mistake. The only thing I don't need to lie about is whether or not I hit on her. If I did in this narrative would anyone care? No. If I didn't would anyone care? No. So I leave it out entirely. I don't like smokers, everyone knows she is a smoker so if I need to explain why I didn't hit on her I can always bring that up. Easy to explain since it's true and I don't need to worry about being caught by any of it because she would deny me hitting on her if she was asked as well. We both mutually didn't like each other all that much.
Because it fits into the narrative you made up in your head. Go read the actual posts again back when this all happened. For some reason you latched on to the complete non issue of the entire story.
