Well, I love the dune universe, so my expectations are probably too high, but I can't wait for this to come out.
Also, I had no idea Ragnar was in this.

It has Ragnar....count me in. I also like the Dune universe and I enjoy Mark Strong as the leader. The effects look movie quality for the most part so they spent some money.

Here is to hoping the story is well done.

i'm sure it'll have shitty parts and ugly people but the weird stuff will be fun to watch. its gotta be more interesting than rings of power, something will probably actually happen

I was wondering why he had the same makeup job for this one, but apparently the dude actually just looks like that normally.

I am hopefully optimistic. I remember liking the chapter house books even if I can acknowledge they weren't as good as Dune.

Travis Fimmel does crazy eye really damn well. Made him perfect as a viking. Will be nice to see him in another role. Hoping he excels with this one as well.

I was very negative about this show. But seeing some cool dudes in the show is making me re-think giving it a shot.

he was also in the show Raised by Wolves which is some great elden ring-esque sci fi shit, worth a watch even though it got cancelled. it was on HBO so not sure where you can watch it other than piracy

he played basically a crazy ass warhammer 40k priest who goes nuts if i remember correctly

I thought S1 was boring. But S2 was fucking crazy entertaining. Shame it was cancelled.

It was a wierd ass show. Honestly I liked s1 more than 2, but I like slow burn sci fi. They were both entertaining to me for just how crazy they were. Definitely one of those shows where they probably had no plan at all. So much stuff was beyond stupid and contrived as hell.

Definitely not wrapped up, but its the sort of show where you watch for the ride, rather than the result. I'm not sure I'd recommend to anyone who doesn't like slow burn sci fi.
