There's only ever one timeline. The issue is our timeline would have him dead, just like all of the countless timelines in Edge of Tomorrow. He only survives in 1 time line, but each time he resets, he's forming a "new" timeline. He's still dead in all of the other ones.
I thoroughly enjoyed GotG and it is in my top five for 2014 but both Edge of Tomorrow and Captain America: Winter Soldier were better. Haven't seen the three Oscar noms that looked interesting so no clue on best. GotG was prevented from being truly great by a terrible Zoe Saldana why-the-fuck-am-I-in-green-paint-oh-right-the-paycheck-performance - which is too bad as everyone else acted their campy hearts out. EoT, on the other hand, has the quite awesome Blunt a very decent Tom Cruise, Bill Paxton and tentacle death.T
Guardians of the Galaxy is still the best film of the year
While promoting his latest action film, Tom Cruise revealed that he has an idea for an Edge of Tomorrow sequel and that he has already spoken to his Mission: Impossible ? Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie as well and Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman about it.
"I pitched it to McQuarrie and Doug," Cruise told MTV. "We were there one night and I was like, ?I?ve got an idea for it.? ? It could be so much fun."
Cruise has also approached his co-star Emily Blunt about reprising her role as Sergeant Rita Vrataski (aka "Full Metal B*tch", "The Angel of Verdun"), but she needs some time before she can commit to it.
"Gotta get Emily [Blunt]," Cruise added. "I was like, ?Emily, please.? She was like, ?Give me another year, please.?"
The 2014 film was well received by critics and audiences, but its $178M production budget ate into its $370M worldwide box office gross--making a green light for a sequel a bit more challenging.
Could get behind that as well.I loved this movie, but I'm not sure i'd want a sequel. How about a Full Metal Bitch prequel first?
Probably depends on how hard he pushes. If Tom really pushes for something is their any chance It wouldnt get greenlit ?
Hmm.Emily Blunt
The studio might make a deal with him and say hey, we'll greenlight this movie for you but you have to do this other movie too.If Tom really pushes for something is there any chance It wouldnt get greenlit ?
Could do with moreI would rather see a prequel to Oblivion that is focused more on the Scavs and how they came to be. Plus more Morgan Freeman always helps.
