Finally got back in the game. So finally killed radahn at level 105. Overleveled as shit but it still took me about 10 tries. His move set fucked with me in the second phase. I finally just managed to burn him fast before he smacked me with purple rocks. If you can break him, you can burn a lot of fucking HP slice and dicing with bleeds.

I spent like 3 hours sneaking around Leyndell last night and feel like I could spend another 3 hours probably.

Also Mimic tear feels like cheating.

Mimic tear with planning is very powerful, especially on certain mele builds. But Tiche is still the best, no question.

I'll always pimp for my boy Kristoff. Bro is tanky as fuck and really the most important part of ashes in solo play is just helping pull agro from time to time. Even on the toughest fights he'll usually last to the very end at like 10-20% health.

Eh Dung Eater is the best summon in the game imo, especially at +10. He can basically solo everything in the game with minimal support...

There are a lot of great summons in the game really. They’re situational but there are definitely some that stand out as good in most situations.

Lhutal the Headless is another badass one I don’t hear people mention. Tanky, melee and ranged, warps to mobs, builds up Death with ranged attack.

I tried Lhutel but the warping mechanic ended up just making her wonky. It seemed to affect the mobs' aggro/focus too much.

Yeah I guess for people who are bad enough they need someone else to have agro the entire fight to win that makes sense.

So I used the summons on my overleveled Radhan kill. Watched the PS5 capture. It ends with me panic rolling three times then slashing the air as the NPC kills him. About right. In contrast, I killed that spectral moose or whatever at a more appropriate level and had a sweet ass roll right then roll left into that awesome double katana slash. I was a badass for 2.8 seconds. I gotta admit that little PlayStation feature is cool.

I think those arenas will stay cut tbh. From Soft likes to do DLC as entirely new levels with new NPCs, items, bosses, and sometimes even quests. These arenas seem too small in scope for one of their DLCs.
