Nah. Double bunga is the way to go. However you need a shit ton more end, you'll want Great Jar Talisman, and Radagon's Soreseal/Scarseal. You should have them or you can get them for where you're at in the game. Jar +1 or 2(?) comes later I think. You can really stack so you can double the heaviest of weapons, and maybe even wear a couple key armor pieces.

And most importantly, your flex amulet should be Claw/whatever other type of damage you will do to boss. Claw boosts your jump attack and jump attacking bunga is the easiest way to play it. Huge stagger, huge damage, pretty decent startup animation for dual wielding massive fuck you weapons. If you aren't jump attacking you can use the Charge attack amulet (forget its name) or something else

Have you done Volcano manor? There's an ash of war in there that charges you're next attack. Very useful. Or Lions Claw for bosses. Very OP ash.

Make sure you have cracked tear recipes too. There's one that boosts stagger even more can't remember where you get it.

Unga build. Stagger the world.

I've increased my endurance enough to wear the sage armor set, I swapped out my talismans for green turtle and arsenal charm (my others one suck), I've been 2 handing my weapon. I changed my weapon infusion to heavy. I've been using Lions Claw ash more (I like that it has a homing attribute so no matter where the enemy is next to you, the character will automatically turn to wherever he needs to smash, even in mid animation. My character has become noticeably more stronger and survivable.

I'm at Volcano Manor now and I joined them, found the secret hallway in the Drawing Room but it seems to be a dead end. Going to look for that Jar Talisman once I look up where it is

What are good buffs for Unga Bunga that I should be regularly using? I've been using "Flame Give Me Strength" but that's the only one I know.

Yesterday I was watching an Elden Ring speed run and saw a player go out of his way to kill some Tree Sentinel in the woods somewhere to get his halberd, and then regularly use the halberd for rest of the game as a click buff. Don't know what it is or what it does. Are the other clicky buffs I should be using?

Goddamn I forgot how much fun this game can be at lower levels.

I did farm the little shit heads beside the Farum great bridge site of grace to get my endurance, str, and dex up to try out some different weapon combos.

Right away I grabbed guts greatsword. Just using the standard ash but I think I am going to put flame of the redmanes on it for some fire dmg. Got it up to +6 I think? Maybe +5. I think I need a few more +2 stones to max out on those. I do have the grafted blade greatsword to pair it with but I don't have the strength or endurance to dual wield those yet. Just using them both in 2-handed mode.

For dual wielding I have the bloodhound fang and dismounter. Neither are enchanted yet. Great double attack moveset.

Also Claymore +1 and Knights Greatsword +1. Lions claw is a nice easy stun attack on most things at this level. Seems like it's using a lot more FP than I remember! Might need to get my mind stat up some for ashes of war. The stamps I've mostly been using only cost 5. LC is 20!

For keyboard and mouse I have some mappings that make playing much easier.

Swapped guard/skill around so guard is ctrl skill is F.

Swapped heavy attack/guard from mouse 2 to mouse center so I can dual attack easier, I swap them back if I go back to a single weapon.

I'd stick with FGMS for now, Elden Ring is horribly unintuitive with what buffs stack and don't stack. You'll have to study the wiki if you want to go with an optimal buff set up, but I'd only do that if you really want to min/max, but its not necessary to beat the game

Braggarts Roar Ash of War is quite good and the effect stacks with the Roar Medallion and the Highland Axe (in your off hand)

I would also look into using Exalted Flesh consumable.

My god, FGMS stacks with Golden Vow (clicky buff from the Tree Sentinel halberd)

Golden Vow:
  • Damage +15% (+7.5% in PvP).
  • All Damage Negation +10% (+5% in PvP)
FGMS:

So you get a 35% physical damage boost, 10% damage negation defense buff and 11% Stamina recovery buff

Tried to do the Great Jar trial. Usually get killed by the first duelist and if I get through the first guy, the second one always finishes me off. These guys have attacks that one-shot me if I get caught in them.

You can duck under a high spot on the cliffs edge and they will yolo over you right off the cliff.
