This makes me feel slightly better about my Sunday flight, so ty.Flight is Thursday at 9pm. I really planned this perfectly to annoy myself.
Preload is up on PS5.
Is it? Mine isn’t downloading and I have the box checked to preload ER when available.Preload is up on PS5.
Same, was just coming here to ask lolIs it? Mine isn’t downloading and I have the box checked to preload ER when available.
I have the collector's edition for PS5 pre ordered from Best Buy. Do they usually ship in time for launch day or am I screwed?

Buying that xbox model for it seems like a bad plan. Haven't kept track of the Pro vs std graphics options, but if yer ok with 30fps i'd assume it'll be fine. If yer a 60fps or bust guy probably better to go pc, and turn shit down. If you wanna game on TV with controller, ps oughtta be good. Not sure if the PS4 Pro will be worth playing this on. The other option is my PC with my 5700XT or get an Xbox One S. Seems like the graphics are okay on the PS4 but the frame rate seems low.

The rest of the computer was built at the same time. I think im going to get it on PC and get a new controller of some kind.I assume you mean Series S and not X1S?
Series S is going to run Elden Ring at 1440p60 ("up to 60" so expect some drops but I'd assume it's nothing VRR can't handle) in performance mode. I'm going to be playing Thurs from about 6AM til noon on Series X, then the rest of the day I'll have my Series S with me. Hopefully the transition isn't too jarring but the info they've given out sounds promising.
Series S is a good console provided you can deal with its two major drawbacks: almost unbearably low storage space and really should be used with 1080-1440p PC monitors (which are cheap since you only need 60Hz and Freesync 2) rather than big TVs.
That said, I don't see any reason why a 5700XT wouldn't be fine provided the rest of the PC isn't too much older.
The 8bitdo pro 2 is pretty nice. The rest of the computer was built at the same time. I think im going to get it on PC and get a new controller of some kind.
Going to check out the PowerA as well since ill definitely be using wired.8bitdo SN30 Pro 2 is great, as is the PowerA Fusion Pro 2 (would be my #1 recommendation for anyone who'll be using their controller wired no matter what).
