You started as a samurai you mean. Classes don't matter beyond starting gear and statsOK I did it.
I've played for an hour on steamdeck, which makes this the longest I've ever played any souls game. Seems fun so far. Going as a samurai.
Ahhh, didn't know that. Thanks.
I'm probably just going to spend awhile farming and getting used to these types of games. I'm definitely not gud, so I don't need a challenge.
I have no idea how to beat some of the big fucking monsters I've run in to. I can't even find the spot on this interactive map I'm looking at. It was some huge earthen monster with 6 or 8 archers backing him up, right at the bottom of a windy mountain pass. I just ended up running away from him.
So arrows don't refresh at grace sites, huh? Gotta craft more?
Edit:
Ahh. This dude, at gate front. Stonedigger troll

The base game was pretty much perfect. They did a great job catering to the Souls-lovers, and also making it easier for new players. Wish I could play it again for the first time.I have been watching a lot of Elden Ring content and now I am getting the urge to play it again. I never played the expansion but I think I just want to reexperience the original Lands Between. That first time accidently finding the entrance the Nokron and taking the elevator down was pure f'ing magic.
