As long as you don't play on consoles sure, since consoles are basically locked to paid mods only(or "Creation Club" like they tried to brand it, not paid mods at all, just mods you spend money on). But even then, I don't know what the future holds for free modding in Elder Scrolls. At least I wouldn't bank too much on it, they've been trying hard to get a cut out of everything being made on their games, even though a lot of it is just fixing their own fucking mess like bad textures and audio in the remaster version and what not. Personally I did enjoy Skyrim mostly before mods were big, had a few I think but nothing too big, it was just a pretty fun game at its core I think. Just wish the combat was less shit and the difficulty better. If they could have Vermintide's combat that'd be so much better. It's all about the mods. Vanilla Skyrim was pretty, but mediocre. With mods though, I poured hundreds of hours into it. Assuming mod support gets better every generation, this game will be more entertaining than Skyrim.

The landscape in the trailer looks like it's on the arid side, which has me thinking the game is set in Hammerfell. A non-fantasy-Europe would be a nice change of pace, aesthetically, so I'm on board for that.
Now if they can just make in Elder Scrolls game where they increase the depth, rather than decreasing it, that would be lovely. I love me some Elder Scrolls, but they really need to move beyond the whole 'mile wide, inch deep' thing.
Looks like ES VI is years away. Starfield too.
