So, since we don't know if this is legit, or simply a well-done piece of fan art, what do you think are the odds Smed would be willing to comment on if it's real? Is anyone here on twitter, and willing to float it by him?
If this is real, I'd say it's reasonable proof that the game will be launching with at least the core three continents (assuming they aren't doing the EQ2 Qeynos and Freeport thing). We'd gotten screens/concepts for locations and races from Antonica and Faydwer, and now with the kerra (assuming it's not a Vah Shir, which I feel is a safe assumption), we've got art of something from Odus.

It's hard to tell, but is the figure behind the dragon silhouette a ratonga from eq2? Kinda looks like it to me.

Well, this is supposed to be something of a callback to the original EQ box art, which had all the female warriors, paladins, and shadowknights in bikinis. So I'm not sure if their presence here is just a reference to that, or if it's actually indicative of how they'll look in-game.
