It's probably because there's been no info that we're speculating, and then being disappointed in what we speculate.

The fact they need to ask if NINJAS and fucking GUNS have a place in EQNext says enough. They have no fucking clue what they are doing when it comes to the EQ part of EQNext.

It's ok though... this is just a different universe or whatever bullshit excuse they came up with. Fucking stupid.

Hmm...ratonga? Go full Clan Eshin with them? Iksar were the only race besides humans to have monks, so they could be going eastern with them also.

And frankly, I find that a more appropriate question than "should there be ninjas?". They're already talking about having assassins as a class, and I'm hard-pressed to think of ways to make ninjas sufficiently different from them to make it worthwhile. On the other hand, take a race, inject a good dose of Japan to their culture, and you could make it so their rogue-type gear looks ninja-ish; best way to have ninjas in the game, if they're really so inclined.

I voted yes on guns in the hope that I can walk into rivervale with a trenchcoat and M16 and recreate the matrix lobby scene. I feel like these polls are BS anyway and if they want something in the game it'll be in. This just makes us 'participate' somehow.

Assasin.

Weapons: Garrote, Daggers.....Ability Slots: Utility, Utility, Movement, Offense.

Ninja

Weapons: Katana, Cross Bow.....Ability Slots: Offense, Offense, Utility, Movement


Two different classes...even if they look the same. The main difference is going to be the couple of unique abilities they come with, and the "frames" in which you can put skills. Heck, even if the ability slots were mirror images, and the abilities cloned--just the different weapons would drastically change a class (And vice versa, so the same weapons but different ability slots.)

It's going to be interesting to see if they end up implementing something that the "Round Table" was overwhelmingly against, like Ninjas & Guns. My gut feeling is that they're going to rue the day they ever decided the Round Table was a good idea.
