A 32-bit system can access 2³² different memory addresses, i.e. 4 GB of RAM or "physical" memory. In reality, the limit is often less than around 3.5 GB, since part of the register is used to store other temporary values besides memory addresses. For those who only know enough about computers for games and porn, what's the significance of the upgrade to 64 bit?
That's a lot of inside the box thinking. No reason it would have to be a mash up of two existing classes. Could be something completely different like Bards, a new priest, or a new pure caster.
I'd like to see something that heals by doing damage. Like disciple or bloodmage from Vanguard or early Rift Inquisicar builds.
Ogre flying kick would be weird.Ogre monks and bards
Team PvP TLP
Thx
I think a War Wizard would be awesome. I'd love to be on a team to theory craft one up.Only class left to add is Warmage. Or Battlemage, whichever. And I think it could work:
We have classes for melee+cleric, melee+druid, melee+shaman (BST), melee+necro, and melee+chanter (bard). All that's left now is melee+wiz+mage, a pure DPS class that fights at short range but also has lower-level pets, nukes, maybe even some self-only teleports. Would be supremely fun to play. Sort of a nuking rogue type deal. Only issue I can think of is that Ranger already kinda fills this role. However there are ways to make this different. Another issue is that adding it at level 120 or whatever would make it a non-factor on TLPs where most people would want to play them and get the lower-level experience. Introducing them at 120 and instantly obsoleting the first 119 levels would be iffy. The last class introduced was Zerker and they get a lot of nothing pre-60.
Let ogres be wizards...I think a War Wizard would be awesome. I'd love to be on a team to theory craft one up.
If you're the only rogue, how are you not the main assist? So much blah blah blah, I just had to click last page and move on, so I am probably a week late on this reply lol.
As for the whole rogue versus every other DPS thing doesn't really mean two shits to me. The reason I play a rogue is simple multifaceted.
First off, the game is over two decades old, and I honestly don't care to spend my life around the game anymore. I play the game for fun; that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. So, min maxing and topping parses is "ok good for you... at a boy... excuse me while I go take a shit and not remember that you did that in a minute from now".
As such, I wanted a class that you could look cool, get cool looking weapons, and generally look like bad ass with little to no effort or fucks given. Rogue fits that bill in many ways.
First and foremost, nobody plays a rogue. It's really that simple. That means that all the rogue-only gear goes to me for next to nothing. I compete with literally no one lol. First drop of uber said item...yawn... excuse me while I go refill my drink. Next drop, I'll take that for minimum. Thank you.
Secondly, no one ever says "hey rogue where's my buffs?!", "port me now", "where's my heal?!?!?!", "Why didn't you pick up that mob? L2play!!!". Nope. Nada. It is literally the single most chill class to play in a raid guild. Listen to instructions, follow main assist, hit attack, and hit backstab every time it comes up.
There is no difficulty in figuring out what you need in gear upgrades what so ever. Does it have Attack, Haste, STR? Is it rogue usable? Check.. thank you.
No spells to buy. None. Nada. Nothing to spend your money on with each expansion. Seriously, show up day one of each expansion, and stab shit. That's what you do. Stab, Stab, Stab. Once PoP comes around, grab SoS AA, and you can go easily recover most corpses in most cases while hitting /rude to the mobs as you stroll by.
It is literally the most stress free don't give two shits less class you can ever play, and... if you do it well, you can get high parses if you actually care about that sort of thing.
Exhibit A for Reason number 2 for why people won't invite rando rogues into groups: they don't care if they contribute much, don't care if they suck and certainly aren't going to try to help the team. They've given up on all of that before the finish the char select screen, and it's your responsibility to carry them from there. So much blah blah blah, I just had to click last page and move on, so I am probably a week late on this reply lol.
