Yeah, I actually logged out and into the other server. I was able to put my claim back in my spot on Courage but I lost all my shit in the process. I was able to claim two locations so maybe that screwed me?

Still having fun, just frustrating. It's definitely doing a lot to hype me about EQN. I'm ready to see some non-randomly created worlds because this game looks fucking gorgeous.

Not to be a debbie downer, since I applaud their communication and effort, but it probably helps that everyone playing atm PAID money(at least $60) and smed said refunds are 100% go if you are not happy with alpha, so they are doing their best to not let any money escape and to invite more buyers.

I'm about tempted to just pay the $60, shit looks fun on stream and I'm enjoying their effort, which is almost like a launch support.

Like I said, given the state of the game they could have easily taken the low road. Yes, even though people paid money. They're pretty upfront about what Alpha stands for and it gives them an "out" that they have not taken. A lot of people wondered at SOE's level of commitment and lambasted them for charging for this level of access, but they've certainly quelled many fears so far. Can't wait to see what's coming next.

Yeah about to pull the trigger, 60 bucks and I can get it back if I don't have fun. Thankfully only thing lagging behind on my computer is a first generation i-7, the rest is all new.

Need something to play between Wildstar(only log in on occasion with current cap) and BF4.

Cinge I think you would like it, and getting in on it now after they clean up all the issues with claims would only increase the enjoyment you get from not having to deal with the bugs the rest of us have endured so far. Getting a refund is definitely a no brainer!

They are going down in 2-3 hours is how I understood it.

Finally got my red pick of doom. Thankfully it was a rare. There is no way I'm doing that ruby thing again for a while.

Got a common golden axe, and I thought I'd try my luck for a better one. Finally saved up the mats, and it turns out to be another common golden axe with the "slow" attribute.

And let me tell you that shit is fucking lame. Especially for those that either couldn't find a claim, or had to go the the furthest possible place from the spire portal to put one down.

What's really bad is there open plots on many worlds right now, but if you put a claim down it says that particular instance has maxed out on claimable land.

They really just need to add more instances. How tough can that fucking be??

I'm not sure where my claim is at anymore, my server is always 'local' so instead of playing the 'zone, crash' game I've just run around harvesting and working on getting my tools in order.

I am not lucky with axes.

you can turn off everyone's elses claim but your own on the map.

Then just zone into every instance, relog ,and eventually you will see it unless its bugged

Well, that is hopefully fixed in the next patch. They are going to change the way the system works so that there is blue on the map where you can drop a claim, and red where you cannot. And get rid of the 3d claim box all over the fucking map mess that there is right now.
