I binged the 1st 3 seasons these past few weeks. Obviously, its creators and actors have terminal TDS but most episodes have interesting stories. I hate how some episodes get a follow-up and others don't. There was one very early in the series where the theater producer they thought was healed committed suicide and the story moved on.
David, Leland and the 4 girls carry the show. Kristen is the most hateable main character of any show I've watched. At first, she reminded me of Carrie from Homeland who at least had the excuse of bipolar disorder. It turns out she's even nuttier and I have no doubt the actress playing her is equally crazy irl. Ben is just annoying. The mother and husband are mostly pathetic.
Season 3 had more boring parts than 1 and 2. There are other plot holes but the one of Leland getting away with the murder with Grace witnessing it and the Vatican having their secret service there is way too stupid to ignore and warrants the cancelation of the show.

Youll love how even more retarded season 4 is with Leland and Sheryl. I pretty much hate watch this show just to see how it ends. First 2 seasons were great.

I have to agree she is both retarded and insufferable. She's the stupid person that is convinced she's the smartest. I enjoy the show despite her. I just wonder when all this shit is coming to a head since this is the last season?

They promised to answer all questions because it was the last season. Maybe they did some reshoots?
Early grandma was infuriating but the stabby one is OK. Fun watching them double cross each other. But yeah the mom is still the worst character.

Another major plot hole. In the end of s3, the girls are onto Leland during the video call with Kristen. They tell her that he's behind it but after that the information becomes irrelevant, Kristen still believes the avalanche story and doesn't chase Leland at all to understand what's happening to Andy. These writers are allowed to get away with huge inconsistencies.

They sent Andy away and didn't even bring him back in the end of the season like they used to. Pathetic was the right word for him and grandma. I know the series shows goblin demons and David has superpowers now but there was some extra silliness in this finale to facilitate moving the story where they want it to go.
It's interesting that this series is built around christianity, talks about islam regularly, but totally ignores judaism. Maybe the goblin demons at DF are their way of representing jews.

Isn't it 4? This one was the season 4 finale. The next 4 are like a mini season 5 to end the show.

When they wrote and filmed episode 10, it was the season finale in their mind with many more seasons to follow. They're just lumping the 4 wrap-up episodes with season 4.

The leeland reveal of he was one of us feels forced and I don’t really like where the show is going. Up until today they skirted the line of science and supernatural and now all science is gone.
