Wow these last 2 episodes have been dumb. Must have gotten a whole new staff to write out these final 4 episodes. Feels like quite a different show.

It took me 3 days to get through this episode. The worst assessment mission of the show. Kristen's permanent crazy smile is enraging. I watched the leftovers recently and the actress appears in the final season and smiles stupidly while talking just like in Evil. 2 episodes left and the antichrist baby didn't get any attention.

They just didn't know how to end the overarching storyline. Like is the baby the anti-christ anymore or not? Then even if it is does it matter? Why does the Devil even care about Leeland anymore?

They have dicked over the ex-husband so bad for excuses to have Kristen to end up with David, but the dude is still a Priest and it doesn't seem like he's leaving.

I dunno, I miss when this show was "Are these really fucked up things happening or not" and "Are all these Devil people secretly just crazy pants", now they are sucking youth out of people and somehow not going to jail for it cause the Judge chops peoples heads off for "reasons"

And dont get me started about the 4 brats, holy shit

For what its worth to anyone coming in here thinking of picking this show up. I was only able to make it through about 3 episodes. Luke Cage is just... not a good actor. And the story and character motivations were bizarre and nonsensical, right from the start.

I agree with everyone here saying the show fell off the rails hard, I just disagree about when.

yeah after Lost, netflix recommended this. I've been watching while playing Yakuza and the game is infinitely more interesting than the show. All the actors are kinda bad, although Ben from Lost is in it and really the only great actor - sadly he is barely in most episodes, basically i'm just watching at this point for him and his story.

Its a weird show, I like the premise but 90% of episodes basically boil down to "something evil and supernatural is going on! 30 mins of ok procedural, 5 mins of rushed ending to prove it wasn't really supernatural... OR WAS IT? DUN DUN DUN" ok thats it rinse and repeat.

There is a decent idea here involving 60 demonic houses and God vs Satan and the apocalypse but the show REALLY wants to focus on whether the main chick "can have it all", and by all I mean a family, 4 daughters, a cucked husband, an intellectually stimulating job that needs her, evil men she can (literally) kill with impunity, a handsome black guy who wants to fuck her so badly, a platonic indian friend she can pal around with and might as well be gay, a fridge full of canned margaritas (wtf), a mom who is a bitch but also does anything for her, and be the central figure in a war between Heaven and Hell. She's Luke Skywalker, center of the universe.

take all the above, puts a CW-tier show skin on it, and thats it. I think the showrunners previously did The Good Wife and it feels like a horror lite sequel to that. I'm up to season 3 and will just finish since I still have hours and hours of yakuza to play lol Instead of this though I'd recommend go watching Lucifer.

Instead of using the 4 bonus episodes to end the series correctly, they used it to shit on HBO MAX with the church shutting the assessment program comparison. They didn't kill off any main character because they're hoping to get picked up by another platform. The dumb actress playing Kristen should never get another leading role.
