I doubt they're as high as they claim to be as well, I mean my PC isn't THAT old. I'm pretty damn excited for the stupid builder thing so I can make one bed surrounded by 50 turrets. Ah yes, my home.

So is anyone else planning on rerolling when they discover their name isn't voiced? I'm usually Tuco in these games but it's such a novel feature (No one else has attempted that, right?) that I feel obligated to use it.

If I had to guess what they used as a base for their name selection it'd probably be something like this:
1000 Most Popular Names of the 1980s top baby names - Baby2see.com

which sadly does not have Tuco on it, but has my real name fairly high up.

haha man. who wants to start some faux outrage if the voiced names are predominately "white"?

That's going to be glorious. I wonder if they'll have my name in there. I also just use TJT for just about everything, but it'd be novel to be called by my first name in this game.

If not, I'm going by Frank.

Hodj definitely aint in there.

Thats okay though Ill make do.
I wonder if you could swing something like "Haad Gee" and it would get it though? (or Hodge - only guesses for how it's pronounced)

Would look goofy on the character sheet, but I wonder if you could kludge it that way for immersion sake.

If it's just for Codsworth, which I believe is what Todd Howard said in the interview about it, then I give not a single fuck about that feature.

The hell at #687 , since when is Jennifer a boys name. Also loved using Shasta as a character name , had a PK in UO with that name. Though has it listed as a female name at #922 , character was a male. Shrug sounded male to me.

I dunno what would be a worse situation, being in the top ten or the bottom ten on that list.

didn't watch, going to skim over this weekend:

I guess this guy did a one health bar, no sleeping/eating/stimpack run of FONV/FO3 or something. I didn't watch those vids but that sounds impressive at the start.

I'm thinking I'll roll 9int, 4agi, and a 3 in everything else.
Sounds about what I'll be starting at too - although 10 INT if there's no stat bobbleheads. (trophies seem to imply there isn't since there's not one for them)

9-10 IN just for the xp? Everything else int does seems like stuff that won't be touched at all for many hours into the game (EWs, robotics, chems, radiation whatever, etc.) if it's anything like FO3 and NV. High ranks of the crafting skills are gated by level and not just SPECIAL, so there's no shortcutting that either. +XP in Fallout has always been just about useless before, and even with the removal of the level cap I have a hard time believing that's going to change much.

Definitely going high PE and AG, probably 4 in IN, then whatever. My first playthrough is always all about rifles.
