Go to Account Details
Change Store Region to AUS (Says I am in AUS, tracert confirms)

Still Can't Unlock

Restart Computer
Log In

----> Still Showing Kronor, can't unlock

Goto Start

That's weird. The VPN you're using might be blocking the ports steam needs. I really dunno what to say or how to fix that.

Today is going to be the longest day of my life. I have a solo shift at work 10-6pm, I can get my copy of Fallout 4 at 9pm from my LGS. I have no one to talk to all day long and Monday is generally the slowest day of the week work wise. But then I have 3 days off to play!

Which VPN did you use? Try a different one, and also go to r/fo4 and look at the topics on the subject, you might still be missing a step, or making some small error that's messing you up. I dunno. Its weird.

Norwegian right? Had same problem. When you log on, you'll see Fallout start updating.

When you log into steam, you need to be real quick on going into your account and change to the NZ store. If Fallout finishes the update file (triggers if it should decrypt or not) before you change to NZ, you can't unlock it even if it says "play" on the store page because you've already updated it to show that it shouldn't decrypt until midnight our time.

I think, to make extra sure, you can turn off automatic updating, then turn off steam, log back in, change store, then press play to activate the last update which will trigger the decrypt.

So potentially a dumb question, but if you guys are playing FO4 offline after VPN unlocking it, are achievements getting awarded at all? I don't go out of my way for them but it annoys me to play and not be earning them when I should be. I unexpectedly have time today so contemplating my choices.

Can't figure out how to assign a damn worker to a defense structure. The settlement interface is kind of cludgy as well as the whole scrap thing.

How do you scrap stuff? Is it a perk you have to take or what?

I can't figure it out.

NVMD finally figured it out. Didn't realize you had to be within a workshop area to scrap shit.

So for the record, you have to be able to enter the workshop menu to scrap stuff. Which is fucking dumb.

You can also scrap from a workbench you find out in the open without going in to workshop mode.

It didn't autostart for us yesterday, but forced it manually since the button was now up on the store page.

yeah the PS4 started preloading fallout sometime sunday morning, mine already downloaded and is ready to unlock in 9 hours. there is a 500 meg patch file too. You can try turning the PS4 completely off and restarting it maybe if it doesn't detect the download, and of course make sure all the auto download stuff is turned on in system settings (some people turned it all off to avoid patches for MGS5/etc).

The download was around 9 gigs I think on PS4. There was also a system software update today morning at 4am to 3.11, so if you haven't turned on your PS4 in a few days you may wanna let it do its update thing and stuff today evening
