Console only disables achieves for current game session
ha yeah. Damn you piper.Lol, ya...never give compansions stealthboys or anything with fatal splash. You regret it fast![]()
There are some cool animations, though. Last night I was exploring with Piper and some raiders attacked. I was sniping some up on a ridge above us and one had snuck up behind us and rushed Piper. She did this kung-fu leg sweep that knocked the raider flat on their ass and then capped the raider in the head with her gun while they were down. Was pretty badass ;p
I had that. I saved, reloaded and it worked fine. Same thing happened with NPC's not doing what they were supposed to (scripted scene like unlocking a terminal).I have an annoying bug where fast travel has 95% stopped working. If I click on a location on the map nothing happens at all. If I mash all of my mouse buttons angrily for 30 seconds then it appears to start working perfectly and then I can click to fast travel over and over, but once I actually fast travel, it breaks again immediately. I don't think it's a mouse issue as I never have any issues clicking on anything else or attacking.. I remember this issue used to be caused by addons in FO3/NV but I don't have any addos installed so I'm at a bit of a loss.
Wait, what? His perk is by far the easiest to get of them all. All you have to do is steal shit, and even though there's a cooldown on the 'like' it's still much faster than anyone else. The worst is Strong, by a huge margin. He dislikes you wearing power armor, picking *any* locks, and any speech checks asking for more caps. The only things he likes are cannibalism and murder. Curie's probably the second hardest. It took me like 20 levels constantly adventuring with Piper and avoiding anything she disliked in order to max her out, and that's a companion who likes lockpicking. No idea how the hell I'm ever going to max out more than one or two others in a single playthrough. The mod fixes it, its still oretty strong for a perk but not ridiculously op like it is bugged.
I stole a lot to get the perk but I also did some quest decisions that helped it along.
His perk is the hardest to get for sure. Hes so finicky and sort of neutral about shit too much good hurts too much bad hurts. You have to be an uncaring dick but you cant be an outright monster.
lol, that cracked me up when I saw it in game. The only bad cut I ever gave myself was with a damned serrated edge. Took the tip of my thumb off. Saw a guy rip open his arm on an industrial sized Darnell (saran wrap) by not watching his arm as it was laying across the cutter (which isn't sharp) when he tore the plastic off. Shit is no joke.Hmm, Instigating Machete- 35 damage when upgraded with a serrated edge, does double damage vs full health targets. Good ninja tool?
The game is harder than the past two games, so you don't suck, you're just not used to the changes.I don't know if I suck or what, but I just keep dying over and over.
I've been really sick plus started a new job, so finally got to playing last night and just turned it off slightly frustrated. I'm level 10, only gone up to Diamond City. Decided before proceeding I should probably level up. Doing the settlement quests, but the one I'm on takes me through Boston and some enemies that are destroying me.
Where should I go as far as sidequest/level up/I need better gear stuff? I was going to investigate the witch museum or something, but I got sidetracked.
are you playing on survival? to be honest, I die ALOT still as well.I don't know if I suck or what, but I just keep dying over and over.

You may be doing it wrong. I am level 12 and don't seem close to getting to Diamond City. I progressed through one BOS quest from raiders to ghouls and then some really hard super mutants before I stopped because I could only beat them with cheese tactics. I switched to some Minutemen quests that were back on raiders, and plan to do some of the other BOS quests around Concord.I don't know if I suck or what, but I just keep dying over and over.

It really is kind of ridiculous how good Combat Shotguns/Rifles are compared to every other weapon in the game besides a plasma rifle (didn't find the ray gun) add on some of the more obvious unique modifiers and it's just outright bad balancing especially when you consider at what point both become ammo sustainable (talking a modded .308 combat rifle).are you playing on survival? to be honest, I die ALOT still as well.OP weapons can make all the difference.
I got a wounding combat shotgun recently. 3 shots kills everything. totally broken. Why do assualtrons bleed? The 50% crit damage, and 15% additional crit laser rifle is still crazy good. would be even stronger in a luck build.
Shotgun is so silly, I dont even need strategy. But, if I dont want to "cheat", do need to run from most encounters, and plan. Deathclaw? run. find cover. (buses work well) no cover? after it gives up, place frag mines. Snipe it. draw it into the mines. Or turrets if a base is near.
