Wife got me my own PS4 rather then using the kids for christmas and I went and got this due to mainly there being nothing esle I wanted to play (the console come wiht GTA5 and Uncharted). I can honeslty say I have no idea how I have not played a Fallout game before, I am having so much fun just exploring the world, I think I have lucked out with lengendary drops as I have full set of Action points refresh rate armor and I use the Railway pistol i just rip through everything pretty easy.

Quick question though how do I assigned people in settlement to a task? I have 4 people in a settlement (minutemen fort) and they won't do anything. I deployed the artilary for the quest and it won't let me progress it any further as it says I need to assign someone to it. I have notice that my food is also 0 in this settlement despite having placed loads of plants, again because no one will do pick them.

In workshop mode (the mode where you can build stuff), walk up to a settler and highlight them. You'll see different options, including assign. Press the assign button, then walk over to what you want to assign them to (food, artillery, etc) and press the assign button again. If you properly assign them, the red person outline will then turn green on the assignable item.

Skyrim Bard mod + enhanced bard music = fun times going to a tavern and playing that - especially if you have Fatal Attraction? on. Getting mobbed by female npcs like a fantasy rock star.

DLC news.

3 announced.
Fallout 4 DLC revealed: Automatron ($10), Wasteland Workshop ($5), Far Harbor ($25) : fo4

Given the expanded DLC plan, the price of the season pass will increase from the current $29.99 to $49.99 USD (?24.99 to ?39.99 GBP; $49.95 to $79.95 AUD) on March 1, 2016. However, if you already purchased the season pass for $29.99, nothing changes - you still get everything at no additional cost- the full $60 offering of add-on content for the original price of $29.99. In addition, if you didn't buy the season pass yet, there is still time: anyone who buys the Season Pass for $29.99 before March 1st will get all $60 worth of content. This is our way of saying thanks to all our loyal fans who have believed in us and supported us over the years.
MASSIVE increase in Season pass cost. but, if you bought already, or buy at the lower price BEFORE March1, you still will get all 3 DLC in addition to unnamed future DLC planned.

For once I'm glad I was a sucker for the season pass.

Still waiting for the creation kit though Bethesda...
Edit: Also that survival mode sounds interesting.

That better be some serious DLC for that price, holy cow. Maybe I just haven't given a shit about DLC for awhile, but that seems steep. If they shat out 3 Dragon Age: Awakening style DLCs, now that would be something. 3 Anchorage DLCs, though? Seems like kind of a crap shoot without knowing the general scope of what they are planning on doing with it.

If at least one of those was focused on post-main story type stuff, I think it would probably be worth the price of admission.

Edit: info on the Bethesday website about each DLC. Robot themed one, settlement themed one, and one based around a new area. Maybe worth 10 bucks each but more than that is stretching credulity.

Edit 2: looks like $10 for the robots, $5 for the settlements and $25 for the last one. If they put out another slate of DLCs this year that fall under the season pass, then that $30 season pass seems well worth it.

yeah. Prices per item seem stupid high. Padded to make the season pass seem like a great deal? $45combined vs 30$ season pass.

Then, they announce that price hike on the season pass.
