Yeah, Powell was sick this week too. Waiting to see what the reports on Hilton are after today's practice.

Part of me really wants to go with Cecil, because he's getting a ton of targets and is healthy. But man...Seattle D.
Yea, I would stay away from Seattle... With a sore MJD.. Are you in a PPR?

Btw.. Powell had a full practice yesterday.. I'm betting he get's 15-20 carries.

You know who else was getting a ton of targets, Anquan Boldin. Playing in a much better offense with a much better QB he managed just 1 catch for 7 yards against Seattle.

I would say that *maybe* Shorts gets some catches in garbage time when Seattle puts their back-ups in like it is a preseason game, but even Seattle's backup DB's would be starters on most other teams. I would stay far-far-away from any WR playing Seattle this season.

Cecil Shorts, TY Hilton, Denarius Moore, or Josh Gordon. Really shitty set of choices this week. Kinda leaning Hilton, but the Colts kept him out of practice today... usually not a good sign.

Yeah, not pretty choices, I would rank them Hilton/Gordon/Moore/Shorts, but if Hilton doesn't go I would also look at the waiver wire. Doug Baldwin is a possible option, only owned in 15% of leagues, going against Jacksonville and has good "chemistry" with Skee Lo.

Thinking of starting Pierce (since Rice is likely out) over Ridley, am I crazy on this? I keep hoping Ridley will have a breakout game but I don't see it happening against TB.

Yeah, that is really a coin-flip choice in my eyes so go with your gut. I would go with Pierce since Ridley is probably another fumble away from getting benched again.

yea, Bush is banged up and that game should have some serious points scored.

I dunno Arch.. that's a really tough one. I think I'd go Ridley if Rice is actually playing.

I want to play Ridley to but fuck if you know what Belicheck is thinking. Ridley is going to have a fucking awesome game but good luck knowing when that will be.

well go with the guy you feel best about. I don't know Bush's status but if he's not playing I'd start Bell

I've got a tough call in one of my leagues this week. Ridley has been dogshit, but I'm thinking he'll continue to be dogshit until Gronk comes back so the run game can open up a bit. I've got serious depth on this team which makes it tough. The spots I can juggle are two RB spots and two RB/WR spots. This is what I'm currently running with:

RB: Trent Richardson
RB: Darren McFadden
WR/RB: Hakeem Nicks
WR/RB: Stevie Johnson

But I have all these players on my bench:

Stevan Ridley
Antonio Brown
Ryan Mathews
Chris Givens
Pierre Thomas

Givens and Thomas are out, but I wonder how Trent will do in SF with having less than a week to prepare on the new team. Should I start Mathews instead? Is starting Stevie Johnson a mistake instead of Brown/Ridley? Should I play both Richardson and Mathews and bench Stevie Johnson?

Too many good options on this team.

sorry .. my reply was more directed at Arch since we both have Ridley. I'm gonna go with Bell

I'd go Pierce. Gronk is playing this week so that's even fewer touches Ridley is likely to get. Between the 89 targets Edelmen will get, Gronk, and Ridley's shit performance so far I would feel good going Pierce.

Standard leagues, but QBs get 6 points for a TD and we penalize INTs/Fumbles much more than normal leagues.

Can't decide between James Starks or David Wilson for my flex. Wilson has the better match-up, but hasn't really done shit this season. Starks had one good week , but a tougher match-up. I think I just talked myself into Starks unless someone has a good case for Wilson. (Martellus Bennett is another option if I want to flex a TE.)

Also, it looks like Gronk is out again. I'm thinking about starting Luck this week instead of Brady...he's outscored him both weeks so far and Brady is going against a TB defense that held Brees low last week. Not sure if I should be scared about Luck going against the 9ers defense or not.

Man Djay.. They are some tough ones. I don't see the 49ers D folding 2 weeks in a row. Indy is in for a tough game.. Brady just doesn't have the weapons but if I had to pick one it would be Brady.. Just b/c one.. he's great and 2.. he has one of the best coaches ever. They always figure things out. I'd roll Brady.

For the RB.. well Starks was a beast so I would have to go him. Just b/c Wilson won't get the goal line carries. He could always break a long one and you'll have to live with that but Starks is the safer pick imo

Scenario 1: 3 W/R Slot -
Eddie Royal @ Ten
Alshon Jeffrey @ Pit
Greg Jennings vs Cle
Marlon Brown vs Hou

I'm leaning towards Royal, mainly because he's seeing a ton of targets, and still has the burst to take one all the way, as well as apparently being a red zone threat (wtf).

Scenario 2: 2 WR 2 RB 2 Flex League(This league was autopicked for me)
Alfred Morris(1)
Stevan Ridley(2)
Darren McFadden(Flex)
James Starks(Flex)
Bernard Pierce
Eric Decker(WR1)
Anquan Boldin(WR2)
Tavon Austin

I'm leaning towards the top 4 RBs, but Bernard Pierce getting the workload today is an intriguing risk. As for the WRs, I'm thinking of benching Decker for Austin, but I'm not too sure.

Scenario 3: Flex -
Darren Sproles vs. Ari
Fred Jackson @ NYJ
Jacquizz Rodgers @ Mia
Julian Edelman vs. TB
DeAndre Hopkins @ Bal.

First two leagues are 1/2 PPR, third league is no PPR.

I'd probably go Royal, but I doubt he'll keep the TDs up. Might as well ride it until he disappoints though.

I'm definitely starting Pierce this week. I'd sit McFadden, I think. Oakland is going to fall behind Denver and have to pass to play catch-up the entire second half.

Sproles.

Gronk inactive. I think I'd still go Brady though. Pretty close, but in what feels like a coin toss situation I feel like I'd just have to go that way.

Back on the subject of Pierce vs. Ridley, with Gronk out it's closer. I think I'd go Ridley, no Gronk increases his odds of getting you a TD.
