2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE) league.
Assuming I start Edie Lacy, Reggie Bush, Alshon Jeffery, and Keenan Allen as my 4 starters would you go with Cordarrelle Patterson out of this list for flex?

I'm even tempted to bench Allen and put Patterson in that spot and someone else in flex.
Scoring is .1 per yard, .25 per rush, .5 per reception, 6 per TD

With the way the league has been cracking down on illegal contact, do people really think that Seattle is going to be the powerhouse that it was last year?

No, but pass interference and illegal contact calls don't end up with fantasy points for the opposing receivers and quarterbacks. Seattle may give up some points to GB this week but I think they'll start to give up more yards next week and beyond. We'll see in week 3 when they play Denver. Hell maybe even week 2 when they go to San Diego.

I'd probably go Jets, Jackson, Romo. Until Cam shows he's healthy he's a scary play, plus the whole top 4 receivers gone thing.... He's projected 5pts higher than Alex Smith in my league but I'm seriously debating playing Smith in our weird 2nd QB slot...
Never sit your studs. Nelson is a stud this year.

Yep. Too many people overthink this aspect. Match ups are important for flex spots and bye weeks, but if your stud is playing that week, you better be too.

I just started an 8-person .5 PPR keeper league with some college buds. I held out too long in the auction and couldn't afford a better QB. Not sure what I'm doing about my bench yet; I was thinking about holding onto Welker as a late season flex play/trade-bait. Should I get rid of him and Hopkins for MJD and Fred Jackson off the waiver wire?

I wouldn't do anything there unless it was drop Steven Jackson personally, i think you've got pretty solid depth on your bench. MJD and Fred Jackson are both in backfields likely to be ruled by huge committee work and on teams that aren't that great to begin with. You are definitely soft in RB though.
Personally I'd think about dropping Kendall Wright for a back, whichever one you think has the most potential. I don't know what else is out there, but probably MJD of the 2 you named.

Think i'd go with catler as he has more offensive weapons and we don't quite know if the brady resurgence is real yet.
