Besides that, I like most of the F&F movies, they are fun shit to watch. I like that they took it in another direction though, it opens it up a lot more than the straight up street racing stuff they used for the first 4.

Because it's still 10x better than Die Hard 5 and if the spoiler link above is true regarding the plot for 7, it will continue to be.

Because it's had the wherewithal to evolve past the initial premise into something better and infinitely more entertaining. It's also because of movies like this that we get the next movie in the Riddick franchise. Even if the F&F franchise weren't a good time to be had in front of a screen (whether movie or television), it would completely be worth it for some original Science Fiction gracing our eyeballs.
While I admit 3 and 4 were pretty weak in the series, I think it did a good job of transitioning the series from the street racers to actual heist movies. If you follow the evolution its all there. First sets us up with Dom and Brian and sets them up as Expert racer with cop whos not a racer and is pretty much about flashy cars with a little bit of criminal heisting thrown in. Second one is about Brians attempt to get back into the good graces of the FBI as he plays undercover cop. Three is a bit far out there but it introduces Han, and has Dom come back. Like I said pretty weak. Fourth was all about saving Dom and setting up for the 5th movie where they are fugitives from the law. Fast 5 brought us back to the original crew and bringing back the fast cars along with an excellent heist thrown in. F&F6 seems to be bringing us full circle with Letty and Rock coming back looking to help Dom. Well maybe not Letty.

Yeah, when I watched Fast 5, I was kinda noticing that this was a heist movie and not a faggy race car movie. Even when they got to the absolutely douchey race car scenes, with the faggy rice burners, they just skipped the whole race "for pinks" and skipped to Dom coming back with the car. Honestly, as a heist movie it was fine. The only douchey part that remains for me is Dom being the "alpha male" of the group. Yeah, I get why, but it's just so faggy for him to be calling the shots and being alpha over all the guys. If a friend ever talked to me like that I'd promptly whip out my cock and put it right on his forehead.

Besides that. Dom needs to be the alpha. Some people like the faggy ricers done to the tits as well as the old big blocks with a blower on it. The bromance is another part that people like. Is it faggy, sure. Is it fun to watch sure.
