Yeah, Ling aint ever gonna end up on my arena team.

Status effects aren't really all that useful and I already have Noctis. A majority of the time I'll be doing elemental chains and beating everyone in one turn, not bothering to use even Blizzard Flask. The weeks like this one where I am doing Blizzard Flask, lancing any noctis/refia that I don't hit with it, then aoe'ing everyone else, well, Ling wouldn't help with any of that.

I only wasted some tickets due to her being a limited time unit. I still have like 50+ tickets but fuck using any more.

It might work if you had multiples of Yun, but it hits way too fast to mix with other units. You're pretty much guaranteed to have Yun hit twice in a row which resets the chain. You'll get a few spark chains, but still not good enough to land a really big finisher.

Cleared the ELT valentines stuff. Amusingly, Ling was kind of a MVP on the team I brought. Went with Cecil, Refia, Ling, Gilgamesh, Noctis, Friend Noctis.

Most of the enemies have various resistances, but light and dark work on most of them, with the final boss being only vulnerable to both. Bring lots of heals and some status cures!

On my second ticket gold breaks to rainbow... got Marie. I guess it's better than the troll rainbows I was getting.

My tickets and dailies were utter shit. Note even an event unit :(

Think I'm going to have issues with the ELT. My new units are not high enough level yet.
Will try again once a friend unit CoD has refreshed. One of the bosses was 1-shotting a characters due to his resistances. (Fucking Golem)

Daily got me Cupid Luna. I wouldn't mind a 2nd for her stacking TMR but I won't be crushed if I don't get another.

Event was pretty easy. The Elite was much harder than the ones before but I never felt in danger going in blind. Too bad the Moogle was only a 5% one.

For heavy elemental damage fights it can be better to just ditch any espers who give you negative resist to something the boss uses. I did this for the IS raid over on JP and my clears of the highest difficulty went from a bit of a struggle to mostly a cakewalk.

Has anyone been crashing in the arena since this morning? Happened to me twice in a row and I've never crashed in the arena before. Thank God I got my 100 streak trophy last night.

I got a Luneth this morning. I'm happy it wasn't a troll, but kinda wanted Marie. I already have enough physical DPS, oh well first world problems.

I wanted a second Luna so I'm done with this banner now. Artemeios isn't great and Marie isn't worth hard pulling for.

Actually it's not quite as bad as you think. They just recently buffed DH and then released two really strong DH tms with the Cloud banner. Those are the stats it takes for DH to compete with DW, 1600 DH is about equivalent to 1200 DW. Which is still perfectly whaled out TMs in every slot, but not as power creepy as it looks like at first glance.

You can stack the same TM on JP. GL would already be in double digits from blade mastery stacking if it worked the same here.
