I'm in Dynamic mode. I think it scales enemies to your level like FF8.
A lot of simulator missions say "level sync", not sure if nornal mode has that.
Just got to Costa Del Sol. Very happy.
The tone shift between wacky 1997 shit in modern graphics and the serious tone of the main plot is ridiculous but they are all in and so am I.
Like I'm riding a fucking Dolphin around a racecourse popping beach balls and I think "yes this is EXACTLY like OG FF7, I know exactly which two scenes this is referencing".
I can't even complain about having to dig up treasure or climb up cliffs, that stuff was in FF7 too.
About 30 seconds into first riding a chocoboWeird, did it die mid game? Or while installing?

-If you're ignoring crafting entirely like I did, at least make sure that when you start getting "can't pick up any more of..." messages for materials, you go do some crafting. I kept going for a while and probably wasted a few dozen potential mats. Thing is, I assumed it was like most games where crafting wasn't great until later on when you got better mats or whatnot, but the thing is, your crafting has to "level up" to actually be able to make the better things, so it behooves you to craft things early and get the levels up for later even if the early items are super meh. Also, only make one of everything (unless the mats are plentiful and it's useful) cause you only get crafting exp for making something once and you want all your mats for the better stuff.
Tifa doing the sit-up mini game with the Costa swimsuit outfit on.. the devs knew what they were doing.
