Ya, Fandaniel won’t be last boss. It will either be Zenos as avatar of Zodiark, or some Zeromus shit. I suspect Zod and Hyd get absorbed and the finale results in the light/dark getting balanced and the legacy of the ancients is laid bare for the world to remember

Given what they said at Fanfest about making decisions on who travels with the party going forward, I think there is good chance some/most of the surrounding cast doesn't survive. Also think that at the end of 6.0 there is another event kind of like what happened when Bahamut was released, where the legend of the Warriors of Light lived on, but no one could remember their faces exactly. Perhaps after 6.0 the Warrior of Light still survives, but nobody can remember them exactly, and you can begin new journeys after the fact without anyone remembering you were the one that saved everyone.

So my 5 week vaccation is ending and I got to grinding relics the last 2 weeks. Dark Knight Shadowbringer and Heavensward Relic weapon and finished my Dragoons ARR Zodiac Weapon today. What a fucking grind the ARR was, the books were horrible to do but the light and other quests after wasnt much better. I don't think I will ever do another ARR Relic.

The HW grind isnt as bad as you can prepare and buy stuff once you cap poetics, Eureka I have no idea but I dont think I will enjoy it from what has been said here and on other sites, feels overly complicated.

The Lance of Longinus do look sweet though and I'm having a blast on Dragoon, feels a little better to play than Samurai.

I'm an omnicrafter finally, got everything to lv80 and lv500 gear! Almost felt like it was a full time job doing it in a few weeks, but enjoyed the variety of it.

Just need to get the folklore books for Gathering and do the Fishing quests for the spearfishing secondary tool.

I have feelings about eureka. the bottom line is that it's a lot to 'learn' but the general gist of it is just that it has it's own elemental level, which effectively makes your character 'that level' and you have to grind back up to max in eureka. in each zone you have to do a certain number of fates to get enough elemental poops to buy the gear up. and then beat a zone boss to get his bits to finish up the zone. i played it really casually and was done in a few weeks.

if you think you ever MAY want to try, it's best to just go in once a week and complete the challenge log. then when you feel like doing it you can just join the party trains and rampage around the zone slapping bosses over and taking their mguffins.

it's way way easier than it was at launch. the lack of hand holding, and weird operaitonal rules for monsters can t hrow you for a loop (you can sneak past monsters by goin behind their field of view, but other monsters need you to sneak or be at full health. lots of little tricks).

Eureka is just slow, but at the same time a lot of callbacks too XI are in there, good money in there once you are max'd with the element board and have access too the Lost Actions in there.

It is fun if you can go in with a group too grind out what you need.

Im having serious job envy at all times in this game... Made like 6 different jobs to 15 at this point... lol. The rotations all feel pretty clunky and slow at low levels, so i havent really found a job i really enjoy that much yet.

So in eureka once you are finished with all the zones and levels what's keeping you from getting multiple relic weapons/armor?

Need to continue farming some currency?

Nothing. Thst is how you do it. But you have to get the total bits from each zone. The boss items, and some times light in your kettle.

Armor too. But you have to build from zone 1 2 3 4 to finishe each time.

Bonus helpful is thst once you unlock all your logograms and enough kit to play, you can sell all new items and logograms for cash since everyone is afraid to go in themselves

15 is an awful benchmark to decide unfortunately. all jobs will feel clunky/empty until at least 40-50, then they feel a bit more fleshed out and then you hit 70+ and have the "THIS is what I was looking for" moment.

Hell I even had a dislike for RDM immediately at 50 when it starts you at that level, then I gained abilities/passives/procs and loved it.

You can check videos, especially rotation guides, to get an idea of how the class plays at max level, like if it's busy, if you have a lot of things to look at, if it's relaxed, proc based, strict rotation etc, should help it narrow down a bit. Style is probably a big part of why ppl play certain classes, some ppl like the big explosions, some like the jumps, some like the weeb katana shit etc.

Also once you unlock potd(palace of the dead) and get to floor 50 in there, you can start at floor 51 on any class, and that'll instantly make you lvl 60(inside potd). That said you'll be a lvl 60 of that CLASS, not JOB, so you still need to get them to 30 to actually experience them, but once you do you can get a fairly decent idea since 60 is somewhat high enough to have a good amount of skills. Have to solo to get any sense of how the classes work though since party is just one skill mob dead.

Weird because RDM feels so much better to me than BLM.

Oh RDM is 100% better feeling than BLM from the get go. But I meant at first I felt weird about RDM when i picked it up. But this was a LONG time ago and i've had one decked out at 80 for quite a while and it's one of my favorite DPS jobs.

I started BLM and migrated to RDM and I agree, it was a bit like, huh, at first. But it is tons better with a lot more movement. I like my BLM but I can't go back to maining one.

well both classes are still low-mid 50s for me and the black mage 'rotation' just seems pretty dull and not very intuitive, and when I look at their future abilities it looks like it just gets annoyingly complex with a trillion bajillion conditionals.

rdm is just blastin.
