I love the calls on Reddit and Something Awful for banning people making jokes about nuking Japan. Its like these idiots literally have no idea how awful the Japanese were acting at that time. Just ask China how they feel about Japan getting nuked in WW2.

Why the fuck did they not just implement a normal queue ? I don't care if you put me in line as number 2201 and it take an hour , having to click through over and over to even get in the queue is so ridiculous.
Also I looked for the hell of it , all NA servers are closed now for new characters , only EU ones have any open.

Welp. 6.5 hours of trying to log back in, thats it for me for the night. Turning on Friday the 13th Part 3 and calling it
I rerolled on Malboro when I came home today around 5pm and have been playing flawlessly for the past 4 hours. No lag or anything, even the duty finder server was working. It does suck for those that cant get on though , no doubt.
Soon as the server clusters issues are fixed, it should be smooth sailing. Im enjoying pretty much everything else the game has to offer and I went into the game expecting nothing, but am leaving it nothing short of impressed.

So Tues should be mainly legacy players wouldn't it ? Except for a few new players who didnt get early access codes , I'd assume the majority of Tues players will be trying to play on the legacy servers , curious if Excalibur and the such will explode.
Same , after getting kicked zoning this afternoon , have tried on and off hundred times at least and nothing but error 1017 and no chance to get into a queue.

So I guess I'm getting some sort of choice from 3 factions after defeating Ifrit. Anyone know what the differences are? I guess Im going for Warrior and Dragoon so tank/melee dps favoring factions would be preferred, if that's even relevant?

Well, they are regressing from duty problems yesterday, to entire server problems today. It is like 10:30am Monday morning right now in Japan. SE should be in full damage control right now. Would be nice to at least get some sort of communication now. But yes, even I am getting really annoyed by this, we are going backwards, not forwards. What was some duty problems before, is now 10% of your population able to play, with no afk auto kick, and no server queues. Guess I'll go watch Breaking Bad.

Well I'd fucking expect it to be smooth as a baby's ass if their solution is keeping the vast majority of people from logging in.
Not sure what's worse, EA's solution for Ilum in SWTOR (i.e. NONE - you can log in but pray you're not doing something that a lot of others want to be doing at the same time) or this shit. Watching that battle would be like watching two retards trying to maim each other.
Well, I take back everything I said about this launch.
This is by far the worst launch I can think of encountering in the last 6 or so years of major mmos. Two entire days of nothing but issues, I got to play for about 4 hours yesterday and that was it. If they can't even get simple server queues to work properly, how the fuck are they going to be able to handle anything else? I am completely taken back by this launch. After this many years of seeing great and horrible launches, you would think they would know how to handle these things.
I'm going to still try and hit max level before completely judging this game but this has most definitely made me rethink a few things.
