Live letter confirmed a few things

The new Eureka/Bozja zone will have a 48 man raid, you can get “phantom jobs” (like geomancer, chemist, berzerker, ranger, etc), bosses will spawn in the open world, etc. you need at least 1 combat class at 100 to access it

The galaxy restoration sounds like it will be Ishgard restoration in space - it’s crafting and gathering focused

They’re also adding more Cornservant quests lol

weird, the cornservant stuff was like the easiest of the easy side quests that I see no real point to adding more to. Strange. 48 man raid sounds insane, going all in like Eureka again, I'm here for it. The phantom jobs sound awesome, too, maybe their way of putting in stuff like geo and chem into the game since there was a lot of demand for those two.

Wasn't expecting that for the galaxy stuff, thought that would be more like island content.

They never went to Living Memory during the quest chain, they will probably wrap it up at that point.. and maybe another Corn style minion IDK doesn't seem like a lot of work, and a lot of people really liked the idea of the quest overall.

Interesting on the whole Stalker mod, probably will be charged the cost of having to write a new Comm Stack.. and rushed(which isn't cheap, we like to call them "Golden Tickets")

Great that they are going 2 different routes for the new Relics.. I know a lot of people never stepped into Eureka/Bozja cause they just didn't like the idea of the zones. And the Return of Sub-Jobs is funny.. wonder how busted Time Mage will be =p

after the wook debacle they have to cling to their likable characters and additions.

They can introduce new characters, they just need to chill with how much they hog the screen. One telling thing is YoshiP was confused why so many people seemed to like Bakool Ja Ja. With him, less was more. Think of it like the Boba Fett effect: In small doses, people like him. When they do too much, people like him less. Bakool Ja Ja had few lines, but the ones he had were memorable and he had some memorable scenes.

They just overdosed the story with Wuk and mediocre writing. If she had like 1/5th the lines and they reworked her character arc a bit, she probably would have been much better received.

Imagine if FF7 Rebirth mods replaced Chadley with Wuk. That experience could sum up Dawntrail.

I would accept Sphene over Mai however.

Any word on whether the Eureka/Bozja area will be a spot for leveling side jobs ala Bozja, or more in line with Eureka?

I don't think they discussed that - there was a slide about "leveling", but it really just mentioned you needed a class at 100. That could either mean you need at least 1 job at 100 in order to enter with other jobs, or only 100 can enter.

I think they did say they will go into more detail in the 2nd live letter closed to patch launch (which comes out in late March)

It will probably be like Bozja(need 1 job at level to get general access for the quest), but honestly leveling in this game is so fast.

Mr Happy mentioned that there is a decent chance it won't be for leveling other jobs just because of how many ways there are already, and the fact they plan to put in a Deep Dungeon for DT at some point which will likely be another major option for leveling jobs 90-100.

We were suppose to get a DD with Shadowbringers also, sadly them switching to work at home during COVID and shit, made it impossible for the design team to do it. (same with DRS which was suppose to be the 2nd Ultimate during Shadowbringers.)

It will probably be a good leveling spot still, but leveling in this game is a joke and the easiest thing in the world.

There's always some who are still catching up. Honestly just doing the combat beast tribe passively most days will get all the alt classes up if you didn't get them there running Trusts or Fates. There's just so many ways to get leveled up that once you're caught up for a new expansion, it's easy as can be to hit new cap.

Deep Dungeons are on the list of stuff I should be good at theoretically but I get so bored that I start taking short cuts and risks and I crash out. I have no idea how people maintain focus on them for 5+ hours at a time without getting bored. I think it takes a very specific type of player to enjoy them.

The only one I've gotten close to finishing is HoH where I've had a few 90+ solo runs, but inevitably I get bored and go on to do other things. I have two 70+ runs on the NPC right now sitting there ready for me to pick up and fail someday.

The frustrating thing about solo runs is the RNG elements (like traps) and the bosses - you really can't go in blind and hope to succeed and most of the bosses require very specific types of drops to kill. Plus you usually have to grind a lot to level your aetherpool weapon and armor before you can even attempt solo runs.

It's a great solo challenge, but it is extremely tedious

Started getting back into Eureka Orthos, but I've lost every run to sever DC's so far.

Game is trying to tell me not to get into this.

They're going to have all 16 games represented in the MTG Final Fantasy release. Saw Cloud, Terra, Tidus, Y'shtola, Sin, and Emet Selch so far.

May be wrong but I think I saw it's mostly 6, 7 and 10 to support the premade decks, then a few from other games like I've seen Cecil from 4, Sazh's Afro Chocobo from 13 and a campsite from 15.

Set looks great but only because Square Enix is stopping them from turning everyone into a "luv the science" afro girl with goggles who I've seen in most sets for a while now.
